"Aria, we know about the accident." a sincere Emily spoke up.

The entire room stopped moving as I dropped my fork into my plate with a loud clang. A look of shock crossed my face before I managed to contain myself.

"I have no idea what you're talking about." I say casually, not looking up from my almost empty plate of salad.

"Come on, Aria, don't play that card. We know everything." Hanna said sternly, obviously not buying this.

There were multiple moments of complete silence before I finally decided to speak up.

"H-how did you find out. I didn't tell anybody." I say quietly.

The girls look at each other, slightly confused, before turning back to me.

"Aria, we're going to tell you something and you have to listen to us, okay?" Emily says, clenching my hand and looking at me sincerely.

I nod, extremely confused.

"We spoke to Ezra. Aria, he's not who you think he is..." Spencer mentions, turning to Hanna before turning back to me.

Without saying anything further, Hanna hands me her phone.

I open it to see multiple photos of a very happy-looking Ezra and I.

"He never cheated on you. You broke up with him. He loves you, he really, really still loves you, Aria. Wes... Wes is lying." Spencer says slowly, as though she knows I could snap at any second.

"H-how, how can you say that?!" I demand, completely appalled that these girls were doubting me.

"Aria, you can't trust Wes!" a distressed Hanna cried, obviously trying to get through to me.

A million thoughts swirled through my head. This was my chance to find out what lay in Rosewood. I needed to find out about my past, but how could I do that without people becoming suspicious of my accident? And I was happy here, I was in the best city in the world with an incredible boyfriend–I couldn't just pick up and leave.

I was still shocked at what these girls were telling me, and ultimately decided that I trusted Wes.

"I'm sorry but I trust Wes. And if none of you can accept that, and neither can Ezra, I'm sorry but..." I said sternly, unable to fathom what was happening.

"Aria, we've been friends since seventh grade! You have to believe us! Wes is lying! L-Y-I-N-G!" A determined Hanna yelled, spelling out the truth for me.

I was flustered and exhausted and just didn't have the energy to put up with this. i put my fork down and threw a collection of bills on the table, and stood to leave.

"I'm sorry, but I trust the love of my life." I said, now completely emotionless. I turned to leave, hearing a collection of angry mumbles from behind me.

Tears were streaming down my face as I found my way to my car. i opened my phone to call Wes, but ultimately decided that I needed to spend the rest of the evening alone with my thoughts.

EZRA'S POV

"Ezra, open the door!" An obviously frustrated Spencer called from the other side of my hotel room door. I wasn't expecting to hear back from the girls until later tonight, and even then, they were only supposed to call.

I immediately shot up from where I was sitting on the bed and answered the door. All three girls were standing outside my door, all looking frustrated and upset.

"What happened?!" I questioned, desperate to know what went so terribly. All three girls stormed into the room and threw their belongings on the coffee table.

"I-it's Wes! H-he, he..." Hanna yelled angrily, barely able to form sentences.

"He freaking brainwashed her!" Spencer cried, fuming.

"Okay, okay, calm down. Tell me what happened." I say, trying to seem as collected as possible, in reality I was dying of anticipation.

"She doesn't want us in her lives either! We mentioned the accident, and you, and she just said that she believed Wes!" Emily stated, her eyes bugging out of her head.

"This is unbelievable! I can't even fathom this! This totally backfired!" Spencer yelled, her hair falling out of her up-do in little pieces around her face.

"No, it didn't. This isn't our fault, this is Wes, all Wes. We just need to keep trying." I say calmly, also very upset by this.

"I'm so sorry, Ezra. I promise you we'll help you as much as we can. We need Aria back in our lives, and so do you." the perpetually sincere Emily stated.

I nod as memories of Aria and I cloud my thoughts. I thought back to every happy moment we had together, and how I longed for it to be that way again.

"So, what are we going to do?" Hanna said, sitting on the bed.

"I have the perfect plan." Spencer said, looking through the drawers, focused on finding something.

Before I had the chance to ask what she was doing, she sighed frustratedly and looked at me.

"Do you not keep a pen and paper in here?"

I laugh quietly and point her in the direction of my briefcase.

"Okay, so here's what's going to happen." she begins.

The room filled with multiple ideas from each girl, and it was a constant cycle of nods and questions.

I missed Aria so badly, I really hoped we figured out how this can work.

{Hi everyone! so this chapter wasn't that great, but I promise the next one will be a lot better!}
