"Ezra, sweetheart? You okay?" Aria asked, waddling into the room, clutching her massive belly. She was only 6 months pregnant, but being so tiny  to begin with, the massive pregnancy belly was totally out of proportion.

I sat up in bed. The entire room was spinning, and I was in so much pain. I had no idea what time it was or what was happening, but I was suddenly sure that I felt horrible.

I scooted to the right of the bed, leaving an empty area for Aria. She smiled and collapsed onto the spot next to me, and leaned her head on my shoulder.

"No but seriously, love, it's almost 11. You're sure you're okay?" she said sweetly, running her fingers up my arm out of habit.

"Yeah, just a little under the weather, that's all." I replied back, kissing the top of her forehead. That was most definitely the understatement of the year, but I had no reason to worry Aria.

"Okay. I'll let you rest then. I'll wake you up for lunch in about an hour or two, okay love?" She said, gently scooting off the bed. I nodded, and turned over on the bed, my back turned away from Aria. I was sleeping shirtless, as our room got extremely hot during the summer months, even with A.C. Aria gasped loudly from behind me.

"Ezra, what's wrong with your back? There's this huge bruise, what happened?" she demanded, immediately rushing towards the injury. I, for one, had no idea what she was talking about. Before I had the chance to answer, she spoke up again.

"W-what did you say was hurting or was wrong, again? Because this bruise..." she took a deep breath. "My  nana had similar ones appearing before she got diagnosed. I cannot even think of you having the same thing..." she was obviously worried. Aria's grandmother had passed away from leukaemia just a few months ago, and Aria was still very shaken up by the whole cancer thing.

"Love, I'm fine. Okay? Now come in and snuggle with me, stop worrying." I responded, scooting to the far right so that she could fit in with me.

"I know. I'm just so worried about you. I don't know what I'd do without you." she sighed, putting her head on my shoulder.

"I'm not going anywhere. Okay?" I gently kissed her forehead as we both dozed off to sleep.

ARIA'S POV

"Ezra, move out of the way!" I cried, clutching my stomach in pain. I was in labour, and we were quickly walking to the hospital doors. Ezra was pacing frantically around me, and all I needed was for him to move so that I could check in. I wasn't panicked, but I was definitely in pain. Ezra never dealt well with stressful situations, and I didn't expect him to react any other way right now.

It took us a while to get us settled in a hospital room, but once we did, Ezra had seemed to calm down, and the contractions had minimized. I was lying in bed, multiple pillows stacked behind my head, and Ezra clutching my hand tightly.

"You know, we should probably call the girls. They said they wanted to be here when she got here." I said softly, looking down at my stomach. A smile crept onto my face–I couldn't wait to meet my baby girl.

"Yeah, I'll call them. You sit tight, I'll be right back." Ezra replied, kissing my forehead and shuffling out of the room. The room was dark, and I was exhausted, and I guess I just fell asleep.

I awoke to my doctor, Meredith (casual Grey's Anatomy reference. Let me know if anyone is interested in some possible MerDer fanfic? ;) ) shaking my shoulders.

"Aria, I hate to wake you so abruptly, but there's been an incident." she said gently. Her eyebrows were furrowed and her pager was beeping wildly. I had no idea what was happening, but I knew it couldn't be good.

Meredith took a deep breath before she spoke again, and that was when I realized–Ezra wasn't back yet. Just as she was about to speak, a collection of loud footsteps outside the door caught our attention. There, on a hospital bed, hooked up to about a dozen machines and tubes, surrounded by nurses, was my Ezra. They were frantically trying to wheel him down the hall, and I immediately felt myself begin to panic.

I didn't think before I jumped into action. I immediately stood up, nudging Meredith out of my way and bursting into the hall.

"Ezra!" I cried, tears streaming down my face. I found myself trying to chase the cluster of doctors down the hall.

"Miss, we're going to need you to step away from the patient. " the tallest doctor said coldly.

"I am his wife. I deserve to know what's going on!" I sobbed, trying to get someone to tell me what was going on. Before I could continue, a familiar voice greeted me from behind.

"Aria, come on, let's get you back to bed." Spencer said softly, grabbing my arms and helping me back to my room. Hanna and Emily were already there, solemn looks on their faces.
