Chapter 12 - Minte

Bucky paced back and forth by the front door. Something was wrong, he could feel it. Where was she? Natasha and Pepper had called over six hours ago to ask if you had made it home yet. When Bucky had told them you weren't he had sensed the worry in Nat's voice. There was something wrong and he knew it. "Fuck it!" He says as he grabs his coat and motorcycle keys and leaving his apartment that he shared with her walked down the hall to Steve's apartment.

Knock, knock, knock...

He banged on the door until Steve answered, his eyes barely open. "What is it Buck?"

"_____'s missing, let's go."

Without so much as another word Steve grabs his coat, keys, and slamming the door behind him calls Tony.

"Hey capsicle what are you doing up? Isn't it past your bedtime?"

"______'s missing, can you check the CCTV to see where she was last?"

"On it, I'll call you when I find something."

Steve could tell that Tony was worried; you and Tony had been almost as close as you and Bucky.

"Tony's on it, do you have any idea where she'd go?"

"No but I have an idea about who took her."

"You think it was Hydra?"

"No doubt in my mind."

The two of them quickly climb onto their Harley's and head toward Stark tower. Once they are there they see Nat pacing back and forth behind Tony making him growl at her as he tried to work. "Dammit Tasha I can't think with you hovering over me like a vulture."

"Sorry, I can't believe I just let her leave like that. I could tell something was wrong but I didn't say anything and now she's missing." Nat wraps her arms around her shoulders as she tries not to break down. Steve walks over and wraps his arms around her and gently rubbing her back says, "Any luck yet?"

"None, but if it helps any Jarvis found that the CCTV camera feed was hacked and some of the data erased. Luckily I'm smarter than them so I'm working on repairing the missing feed."

"Thanks Tony," Bucky says as he eyes every screen. "Come on _____, give us a hint."

All the sudden there was a loud explosion and they all walk over to the window to see smoke and fire coming from a building about ten blocks away from the tower. "What the hell was that?" Steve says as they all eye the burning building.

"Jarvis,"

"On it sir," The AI calls out as he brings up the CCTV feed surrounding the now burning building. When the feed starts they all gasp as they see _____ walking out of the flames her body engulfed in a metallic blue light, she was followed by two other people. One a tall man with white hair he was moving so fast the camera had a hard time catching glimpses of him. The other was a brunette woman; she had red lights leaving her hands striking what looked like Hydra soldiers making them fall to the ground writhing in agony.

"What in the-" Nat starts but is suddenly cut off as she hears the sound of metal hitting a support beam. They all turn to see rage in their friend's eyes as he says, "I'll kill them for what they've done to her." They all stare at their friend not sure what to say or even how to approach him.

"There's only one thing we can do now," Nat says as she pulls her gun out of her holster and cocking it says, "We have to bring her back."

"Wait! You might wanna see this." Tony says as he hits a button making a video appear on the hologram before them. They watch as she lifts her hands making a group of Hydra agents lift off the ground and then as she clenches her fist all of their heads twist all the way around killing them instantly.
