Chapter Twenty-Seven: The Snow Prince

[Magic Realm - Somewhere]

Somewhere in the magic realm, Nick and Daggeron were training. Lupin was close by sitting on the ground, with Apollo resting next to him.

"You got this, guys." Lupin cheers, looking between his boyfriend and his father.

Nick gained the upper hand, and Daggeron stood up. "Nick, that's not how I taught you." The Gold Ranger says. "You'll do best if you follow the standard technique."

"Come on, Daggeron. Loosen up." Nick tells him.

"With the Terror's attacking, there's no time for your playful antics." Daggeron says.

"Look, all we do is train. Everybody's gotta let off some steam, sometime." Nick says.

"But I'm your teacher." Daggeron says.

"Daggeron, listen. I have learned so much from you, but I have my own way of doing things." Nick tells him. "Sometimes I just gotta... follow my gut." He says.

"Nick's right, dad." Lupin says standing up, and stood between them. "Sometimes a student has their own way of doing things, instead of following what was taught."

Suddenly a magic circle appears around them, and they disappeared.

Apollo quickly stood up, going towards where the three had disappeared circling around the area in worry.

[Realm of the Snow Prince]

Appearing in a realm full of snow, the three Rangers looks around.

"There's a bunch of snow around." Lupin says looking around.

"Where are we?" Nick asks.

"In the realm of the Snow Prince." Daggeron says. "He is mentored to the original Mystic Warriors, including your father." He tells Nick. "I fear he's been watching you train."

The Snow Prince appears in front of them.

Daggeron lightly gestured for both Nick and Lupin to show respect by standing on one knee.

"Great teacher, it is an honor." Daggeron says.

"Welcome, Daggeron." Snow Prince says. "And you are the Red Mystic Ranger, Bowen." He looks Nick.

"Uh, Nick." Nick corrects.

"And you must be Daggeron's son, the Black Mystic Ranger, Lucas." Snow Prince says looking at Lupin.

"Lupin, actually." Lupin corrects.

"It has come to my attention, that one of you has strayed off the path of knowledge." Snow Prince says.

"Don't be hard on him, teacher. Nick is very bright, but sometimes a little headstrong." Daggeron says looking towards Nick.

Lupin looks at Nick.
Nick looks at Daggeron.

"No, Daggeron. It is you who needs to learn a lesson." Snow Prince states.

Lupin turns to look at Daggeron, before turning his attention back on Snow Prince.

"It is my bidding that for this day, you will become a student, again." Snow Prince says. "And you, Bowen."

"Uh, Nick." Nick corrects.

"Will be the teacher." Snow Prince says. "And you, Lucas." He looks towards him.

"Uh, Lupin." Nick corrects.
Lupin smiles at his boyfriend.
