Hello, friends!
This story is one of my passion projects, but I'm finding myself having to take a break from it. About a month ago, I wrote the next chapter of this story. It was intense. It was heartfelt. It was dramatic, suspenseful, and I was incredibly proud of it. Unfortunately, something glitched on Wattpad's side and my entire 5,000+ word chapter was entirely deleted - not even to be found in the version history. I was devastated. I tried to rewrite it. Tried to recover it. Nothing worked and the intricate little details I added originally were only shadows in my mind. It really upsets me that I'll never be able to recover or replicate what I had before.
Around the same time, I also busted a Wattpad scammer who was trying to lure authors into paying her for fake fan art. It's been a rough time on Wattpad for me, and my writing passion fizzled out a bit. I hope to be back soon, and I'm sorry this isn't the update you were expecting.
I'll try to rewrite the chapter soon. On that note - with the original chapter gone and blown away in the wind, if anyone has fresh ideas on what should happen next, please comment. I know how the story will end, as this is a rewrite, but the original story I created over 10 years ago now was missing so much plot that I'm still happily paving the plot point to get us to our dramatic ending.
