ELEVEN AND STRANDED: The Beginning

MCRC

It was a cold winter morning when MCRC began his quest. He took with him his two most trusted friends on the journey. The quest was simple, restore peace between the two camps. Several months ago two camps started to clash with each other. However these two camps were not easily found. The war had started early 2002 and his quest is to end it before something bad happens. The Gods had already started fighting and it was believed to have been started when a Greek and a Roman started fighting. However MCRC was not part of either camp and set out to end the fighting. He hoped simply showing he is not taking any sides will bring them together again. Several things had gone terribly wrong the previous year when the Gods were fighting.

Now the only way to prevent the Gods from ripping everything apart was to restore peace. No one was brave enough to attempt to stop the Gods from fighting. MCRC stepped forward during the conference and announced he would solve the issue. He was a well respected soldier and everyone looked up to him. He is a son of Mars. Here is what was said on that day.

MCRC "You are all wondering how we can stop the Gods from fighting each other. We must bring them together and show them what it means to agree. We know what this feels like but they do not. I will personally take charge of a crew and head to Olympus myself." Senate "Are you crazy? We all know that there is no way to stop the fighting. These are our parents and they do not stand for us interfering with their conflicts. The Gods only care about themselves. What difference can we possibly make?" MCRC "What difference can we make you ask? I say this is my time to shine. I will stop the fighting and I will prevent it from happening again. Remember that my parentage is extremely questionable. Either way my father is the God of Rome. If they don't listen to me then all hope will be lost and we can say goodbye to our world and watch it crumble right before our eyes. Without peace among the Gods we would have no place to live. Not a single place will be good enough to sustain our lives. If you fail to plan, you plan to fail." Senator Cruceo "Perhaps he is right. MCRC, our most decorated soldier, do you accept a quest to negotiate peace among the Gods?" MCRC "I do and I will." "It has been decided MCRC shall command his squad and go forth unto Olympus. This meeting of the Senate is adjourned!"

MCRC "Zack, Brock I need your help. You both are my only hope to make this work. If we have Poseidon and Hades working with Mars then we stand the greatest chance."
Zack "This is a crazy plan, but I like it. I'm in."
Brock "This is a huge risk, but I like taking risks. Let's do this."

And so off they went. They traveled across mountain and plain until they reached New York. The entrance to Olympus is inside the Empire State Building and you have to know which switch to pull. Zack "Where the heck is this entrance at?" MCRC "I believe it is up there." He points to the top of the Empire State Building. A small storm cloud forms quickly then the sky is clear except a patch of clouds directly above the building. Brock "Olympus." When they reach the building someone asks what they are doing there. MCRC simply responds saying it was an important project that brought them there. Guard "What kind of project is it you are working on?" "It deals with world peace." Another guard says something. "Is that a demigod I smell" the first guard responds and they start fighting. Turns out one of them was an empousa. The other was a son of Aries. "Are you looking for Mt. Olympus?" "How did you know that?" "I am a son of Aries and I have been placed on guard duty at the entrance." "Yes we are looking for Olympus." "The Gods are angry are you sure you want to go up there?" "We have no choice." "Very well then. Follow me." The guard takes them to the elevator and then they are transported to Mt. Olympus.

Zeus "We must stop fighting for I sense some halfbloods have just came out of..." Poseidon "Not today brother we are at war and there is no stoping it." MCRC "Wait, you must stop fighting! We need to keep the peace!" "Son what are you doing here?" "It is my quest to negotiate peace between all of you." Poseidon "He might be right." Hermes "Shut up and let's fight." MCRC "Stop! Just listen to me and we can try to calm the nerves. The reason why we are here is to show you it is alright to work together and that you can accomplish great things when you don't fight all of the time." "Perhaps you are right." "Hades why must you encourage war all of the time?" "It is the only thing that gets me more souls in the underworld." "Poseidon you are the king of the seven seas. You are king over 2/3 of the Earths surface. You can also create earthquakes at the flick of a finger. You all have a special power that no one else does. Pull together and you can accomplish something large." "Zeus, Hades you are my brothers, we should not fight against each other. Family is supposed to stick together through the bad times and the good times. Our sons are right if we work together we can accomplish great things."

"I believe peace is within grasp. Zeus can you make peace among all of you. If you cannot I will personally ensure that it happens." "Your vision is clouded MCRC, you cannot restore the peace on your own. Did you forget who you are talking to?" "Zeus do not bring up the point that I cannot win against any of you. What you don't understand is that you can only keep trying. My quest is my duty. If I fail the world will surely fall into the hands of the Titans and Giants. I know where they are. They are gathering an army together in the areas surrounding the Boundary Waters." Hephaestus "I smell a lying scum in our presence. No one knows where the Giants are and they sure as heck won't team up with the Titans." "You are mistaken for I sense that he is correct. Zeus let us put aside our differences otherwise we will lose complete control." "Hermes you are the messenger and if you say it is possible then it must be possible. Let there be peace among us for we need our strength to take down the Giants again."
