ELEVEN AND STRANDED: The Beginning

Camp Hidauigoa Part 1

MCRC "Welcome to Camp Hidauigoa, the camp of the ninjas.  I formed this camp as a rest stop between the two camps and business is never slow.  We are an elite task force here at Camp Hidauigoa and our purpose is to protect those who need it the most.  I heard the roar of the Hydra and new that a battle was nearby.  My men came to me and asked what to do, I told them that I would go check it out and report back if I need assistance.  We have been following you for quite some time Lyn.  We knew you would become a powerful person and you would need protection at all times.  From the time you were eight years old we have been keeping tabs on you.  Our days are numbered and some are sooner than others."  Evelyn "I shouldn't be here.  Remember what happened last time?"  "Eve you need to let go of the past, focus on the future and what you can become.  I know deep down in your heart you feel like something is missing.  I know what that is.  If you want to discover who you really are you know where to find me." 

"What do you mean by who I really am?"  "There is more than you already know.  Your father and I have not been on the best of terms lately but when you were born we were on good terms.  He told me you had been born into the world that day and that he wanted me to be there in his place.  He told me what your destiny is and if you ever want to know who you really are that you would come to me."  "So my father wasn't even there when I was born?"  "That was me who took care of you.  Your mother didn't survive your birth."  "I was told she died in a car accident when I was three.  But you're telling me she died giving birth."  "That is correct.  Your father knew it was coming, in the last two months of pregnancy her health began to fail.  She became weaker as time went on, she was destined to die giving birth.  You have power to prevent death and to control death.  You have command over Thanatos."  "So does this make me a very powerful girl?"  "Control over Thanatos is not earned, it is given when you are young.  You were born with it.  You want to know who you really are.  Well here's your prophecy written down on page 313, go ahead and read it.  Your father told me to write down your destiny."  She opens the book to the page he told her to open it to.  She reads her prophecy word for word.  Her fate was sealed with the news of the truth about her mother's death.  It is a noble prophecy and she will inherit command over Tartarus.  There is a rumble in the distance the flyers check it out and return.

Cujo "MC we got a problem."  MCRC "What is it this time?"  "The volcano is active and we need to move camp."  "Wheels up in two hours!"  "Let's move people we need a complete tear down in less than an hour!"  "Cujo take your team and keep tabs on the volcano.  Let me know any signs of an immediate eruption."  "Yes sir!  Alpha squad on me!"  "Eve, Lyn, Juni you must follow me for I need to protect all of you.  You are in what is known as uncharted territory and for that reason we must remain vigilant at all times.  Let's go."  Lyn "Wait what about the camp?"  "Lyn the camp is full of elite soldiers and construction personnel.  They can have this entire camp down in 15 minutes if they wanted to.  I must move you to the next location of this camp."  "How do they know where to set up next?"  "Every time we set up camp we exercise caution and prepare a second location in case of a quick move like right now.   As long as we stick to the plan we can have the next location half finished by the time this one is torn down.  Bravo, Charlie, Delta, Echo, Foxtrot let's begin building on the next site.  Let's move.  Wheels up in five, on the move in ten.  Let's move it people!  location Bravo in five hours!"  Esinem "Got it boss.  You heard him let's execute plan A 4 Alpha Whiskey!"  "Juni get on the gun, Lyn you take shotgun.  Evelyn your choice, you can come with us or you cannot."  "Um I'm going with you just in case you need a quick escape."  "Are you sure you are up to shadow travel for all of us including the Humvee?"  "I am stronger than Nico so I can handle it."  "Get in.  Squadron let's roll out." 

They move to the new location and set up base camp.  They begin construction on the new camp and fight off monsters as they come.   The army keeps coming and MCRC keeps on fighting them off.  Wave after wave attack.  MCRC starts to glow red after the fourth wave.  The blessing of Mars now takes full effect. He alone protects the others while they build. The camp is set up and everyone in in less than four hours. Now here is the tour given to the newcomers. MCRC "Now if you will please follow me I'll give you the tour of this camp. Right this way." Juni "I feel like this is a trap." "If it was a trap I would have left you for dead during that battle. You see I only help people if I sense their worth. Juni you are still a junior protector. Lyn you need my protection on the way. You might as well stay here at my camp. I can provide the necessary training for your future quests. At Camp HalfBlood the only combat trainer is someone who will crush you every time. Trust me only two people could beat her. One is her boyfriend, the other was me. All I do is fight." "You left the camp and that in my books is a betrayal." "Betrayal? Yeah right, have you ever wondered why nothing has ever gotten through the barrier yet it happened a couple of times in the last four years. Well the barrier no longer exists. I have been protecting the camp. For the past six years I have been sending a squad to patrol the perimeter of the camp. Twice I did not send a patrol, both times the barrier was breached. The second time it was breached it didn't come back. Ever since the only thing defending the camp is one of my patrols. Without me Camp HalfBlood would not exist. Now follow me before I change my mind and you can navigate the camp on your own." "Let's just go, I don't feel like getting lost in the camp."
