ELEVEN AND STRANDED: The Beginning

Blaze Blue-Hunter

Blaze Blue-Hunter is a son of Apollo.  His weapon of choice a simple Bow that he can literally fire anything with including a full grown human and even a tree. He can take the light straight out of a light bulb by simply putting his hand up to the bulb and the light jumps into his hand.  He then takes it and places it in some random object before getting into a fight.  He grew up only hearing about the Gods and had no idea he was a demigod until he reached 16 when he was attacked by a Hellhound in the middle of a state park. Since then he has successfully defended himself against several attacks. It was after the sixth attack a protector showed up and escorted him to where he could be safe for the rest of his life. Of course being a demigod will leave you curious and want to go on adventures. Sometimes for good and sometimes you may wind up getting killed. His protector stayed with him until he found a group of friends who basically share something in common and become a team. Every time a quest was offered and it gave Blaze some interest he would volunteer for the quest. However you do not volunteer for a quest. You must follow what the Oracle or any of the Gods say.

The tradition of greeting a new demigod to camp is always followed. First they are assigned to the newcomers cabin and then after about 3 weeks they will move into a cabin with their own brothers and sisters, the cabin dedicated to their Godly parent. Once this process is completed they will begin more advanced training.  They will learn the weaknesses of  monsters and become skilled members of an elite fighting force.  Blaze is a very inexperienced demigod and had gotten to the camp by way of extreme luck.  Most demigods experience their first attack at twelve years old.  Blaze didn't know anything until he was almost 14. His fighting style was different from most, he used both melee and mixed martial arts. However he was weak and it would take a miracle in order for him to survive. He beat the odds and came into camp victorious and was instantly promoted to junior instructor because of his combat victories on his way to camp. However he was not happy with this position and decided he should just get some training and then leave the camp. When he left it was as if he was never there. No one liked him and he always felt out of place. He then found a squadron of demigods in the Northern territories and they took him in as if he had always been there.

He felt like he had a place and would stay with them until the group comes under fire and he is the last man standing.  It is then that the unexpected occurred.  A man riding a dragon appears and defeats the army of monsters.  He offers his hand to the only survivor of the attack.  Blaze "Who are you?"  MCRC "My call sign is MCRC and my name is Maximilian Vetros Dias.  I am the man who will keep you safe until we reach a nearby camp."  "I refuse to go to any camp.  I had a bad experience at CHB and will not return to that camp."  "Perhaps you may join my Legion and find place among the standard bearers.  One of the most important jobs in the Legion is to carry the Legion's standard, a Golden Eagle.  It is both an honor and a responsibility."  "Sounds tempting but I must decline.  I belong in the wilderness."  "Tell you what, I'm going after Kronos tomorrow and should something happen I will need back up.  I have a small squadron at my back but even they may not be useful."

"Why would you want me to join your hunt for Kronos? You barely even know me." "I know that you have a pure spirit. With a pure spirit comes great danger. You my friend are in DANGER at all times. There is a doom upon you that even I cannot bear to witness. Mars the almighty is the only God who can save you from your terrible demise." "What are you talking about?" "Your pure heart has put you in extreme danger and you must learn to accept your place among warriors. If you find your place among warriors it is likely you might be saved from this almost certain doom. Take my hand before they send another wave in which you will perish fighting." "How do you know all this?" "You are Blaze Blue-Hunter and only three individuals know you were around until you reached CHB. I was one of your guardians, I hid out among the trees and watched you back while you traveled. When you felt you were being followed and nothing was there, that was me. I always killed anything that followed you and when you turned around I was again gone. You saw a small pile of reddish-orange dust that blew away as if something stood there." "That time in the square when I blacked out. The last thing I remember seeing is a man standing over me but I couldn't see his face. Then an arrow pierced his chest and he just vanished. Then I saw the same figure standing above me after the empousa attacked that group of people. I watched as a man came up behind him wearing the same armor you are currently wearing strike him down with a lightening bolt."
