ELEVEN AND STRANDED: The Beginning

Lydia is a daughter of Zeus. She can control the winds as well as lightening. She has never been on a quest before and has seen the Oracle. The Oracle would like for her to lead a quest deep into enemy territory. Her choice of weapon is an Imperial Gold Sword. Imperial Gold and Celestial Bronze are two completely different materials used by demigods. Imperial Gold is the choice of material for the Romans and Celestial Bronze is the choice of material most often used by the Greeks. Lydia has been asked to spearhead a rescue mission. The mission is simple but extremely dangerous. The Giants control the boundary between the Gods' realm of control and the Titans realm of control. Giants are nearly impossible to defeat without the help of a God or Goddess. Only one Giant has been know to be slain by a single demigod. She chooses her travel companions with extreme caution.

She chooses two more demigods of the Big Three. Skyler is a daughter of Hades. She can speak to Hellhounds and uses dual wield Stygian Iron Swords. She had one quest that can't really be considered a quest. She was with the Seven and Nico to aid in a war. Nico Di Angelo is a son of Hades who knew about both Camp Half-Blood and Camp Jupiter. He traveled between the two camps but never revealed there was another camp. Skyler is the second member of the quest. The third member is Kaitlin. She is a daughter of Poseidon. She has power over water and will remain loyal until her demise. However her end is far from being close. Her destiny is rescuing a friend. That is another story. Her weapon of choice is a kunabi bow and arrows with several different arrowheads. Some used for climbing, others for quick clean kills. The quiver is attached to a sheath holding a Celestial Bronze scabbard. A scabbard is a small but extremely useful sword, used only for close quarters combat. With the matching of all three of the Eldest Gods they are considered unstoppable.

Their quest is to go 13 miles behind enemy lines and rescue another demigod who has been captured by Kronos. Kronos has been killed a total of three times. Once when Zeus, Poseidon and Hades ripped him apart. The second time he was killed one demigod of the Eldest Three used the sword his father had given him. The Cursed Blade is the original weapon used to kill Kronos. Percy Jackson fought and killed Kronos on his own on an island inside the Sea of Monsters, what humans call the Bermuda Triangle. There is an island within the Sea of Monsters where the goddess Circe decided to build a the park on. The very same island Polyphemus resides on. Lydia must lead Skyler and Kiatlin on a very dangerous quest. To rescue Rumor Smith from Kronos is an absolute must. Rumor is a daughter of Ares. Her weapons are an Imperial Gold battle axe and a Celestial Bronze scythe. She can kill in any way possible. She also had never been on a quest before. Why she was behind enemy lines no one knows.

Lydia "Skyler, Kaitlin. I must choose my companions and I would like for you two to come along. With the three of us we should be able to accomplish just about anything. Skyler you have more battle experience than I do. I will need someone who knows what they are doing." Skyler "Sure I'll go on this quest. Besides the war that I was in can't technically be counted as a quest. It was after that battle I came here. Before I knew what was going on I was on some sort of ship. I think it was called the Argo III or something like that." Kaitlin "I can't wait to work with you. I mean we are all very powerful on our own, but if we join forces we should be able to do anything. We are unstoppable when we are together. What is this quest we are going on?" "Something about Kronos, a cage and another demigod. A daughter of Ares or something." "Rumor Smith! She went missing three years ago. Just before you got here Skyler."

"Rumor Smith?  Hmm sounds like one we may need in the upcoming war."  Evelyn "You seek Rumor Smith.  To find her you must travel to the Badlands and then through the Forests of Old.  There you will find a sanctuary hidden inside a mountain.  It is said the dark lord Kronos lives there.  Rumor Smith is still alive but she is fading fast.  I can feel her essence getting slowly sucked into the Underworld.  Yes Skyler, I am a daughter of Hades as well as you.  I shadow travel to any destination I feel I need to be.  I know some secrets no one else knows."  "I'm sorry but I don't think you belong here.  I can sense you are hiding a dark secret."  "Lydia I also know your exact time of demise.  Several demigods have traveled into the forests of old and never returned.  You are fated to destroy any enemy you may face.  However our time is very short.  I can take you as far as the Badlands.  After that I must go."  "Alright, but who are you?"  "I am Evelyn, the rogue warrior behind enemy lines at any given point in time.  I take great risks when I shadow travel.  Sometimes I miss my destination and wind up in the crossfire.  My strength will hold out long enough to get you as far as the Badlands.  We will arrive at the edge of our world and the Badlands in about three minutes flat."  "Then let's go."  "Everyone grab hands and don't let go until I tell you it is safe."
