The One - Phanfic AU

Meetup Part 2

~basically a repeat of last chapter but in Dan's POV~
Dan's POV:

I had finished packing to stay at Phil's yesterday. His parents are going to be gone for a week so I can stay! I'm really glad I can after what happened with my parents and all.

I was just finishing up double checking and stuff when I decided to Skype Phil.

"PHIL!"

"DAN!" He shouts back at me.

"I'm just finishing up getting ready. I can't believe I'm gonna be properly meeting you only a few hours!!" I'm so excited but in trying to kinda keep my cool.

"I KNOW!!! Well if your getting ready I can leave, you must have quite a bit of packing to do. You ARE staying the entire week aren't you?" He asked. He was grinning a lot.

"I packed last night, silly" I said pretending to tap his nose. "And yes, of COURSE I'm staying the whole week." Phil giggled but quickly covered his mouth. I think it's because he sticks his tongue out a little bit when he giggles. "Don't cover your mouth!! It's cute the way your tongue does the sticky-outy thing." I was smiling so much. He was just adorable. He took his hand away from his mouth and my smile got almost impossibly bigger.

"Okay well I'll see you in a couple hours then! Bye Dan!" He said. "Bye Phil!" I waved and ended the Skype call.

~a few hours later~

The train ride felt like forever! I couldn't wait to just get off and finally meet Phil! I don't think I've ever been more excited for anything in my life. I'm meeting my first friend.

I walked off the train and was looking around when I heard someone call my name. I whipped my head in the direction of the sound and there was Phil. Handsome as ever. I started walking towards him but soon there was enough space to start running.

When we reached each other we both fell to the ground because of the speed we were going. It felt like everything else around us disappeared. His lips were inches from mine and I was dying to kiss him. When he started leaning in, I closed the gap and kissed him. It was amazing. It was perfect. But he didn't think the same thing.

"I-" his voice cracked. Agh he's adorable. "I'm, yeah, uh, sorry a- about that." He helped me up. I knew those crazy thought of him liking me back were nonsense. He'll never like me the way I like him.

"Uh, it- it's alright." I awkwardly scratched the back of my neck.

"Uh well hi." This is so awkward now ugh.

"Hi." Something clicked inside of me and I realized that Phil Lester was in front of me, and I was just casually talking to him.

Apparently it clicked in Phil first because he shouted, "O- OH MY GOD!" He pulled me into a really nice hug and obviously hugged back screaming an equally as excited.

"HIII!"

"OH MY GOD DAN!" He screamed at me. Normally I would be embarrassed but this was different. It was Phil.

"It's me! In the flesh!" I twirled around and smiled. He pulled me into another hug. I'm so happy we got to meet each other.

"Hey, do you need help with your bags?" I had forgotten about all my bags.

"Yeah, do you mind?"

"No problem!" He said  as he grabbed the heaviest bag I had.

"Um, you sure you got that Phil?" I didn't want him to hurt himself.

"Yup, absolutely."

"Okay then." He was already out of breath and we hadn't moved anywhere... Oh Phil. I grabbed the rest of the bags and looked at Phil. "You ready?"

"Yup! He looked back at me. "I'M SO EXCITED!"

A/N: well that happened... Next chapter involves a major moment in Phan history, let's just put it that way...
