Dirty Little Secret

CHAPTER 1 (NIKKI)

"Class! We have a new student! Her name is Nikki Davis. Please welcome her," Mr. Neff, their science teacher announced. The class applauded enthusiastically. It wasn't everyday that their grade got a new person, and it was very rare that the new student was good-looking. Nikki leaned back in her navy blue seat, scanning the classroom. She didn’t notice any especially good-looking guys, but the boy two seats from her was pretty cute. He had long hair that covered half of his eyes, a zit-less complexion, and as a bonus, he was pretty short, just like her.

"Everyone, pair up! We need to do a lab," Mr. Neff said. This was the part that Nikki detested the most. Pairing up? There was zero chance anyone would ask her; she was still new. But all of a sudden, a pretty, petite girl with side swept bangs came up and introduced herself.

"I'm Tatiana...You're Nikki, right?" Nikki nodded.

"Let's be partners!" Tatiana said cheerfully. Nikki gave Tatiana a greatful nod as they went to the back of the room and worked on identifying rocks. Or at least, that was what they were supposed to be doing. In the short twenty minutes, Nikki found out a lot about Tatiana's life, that she had a boyfriend named Ethan, and a whole bunch of friends that she would soon meet, thanks to the lunch invite that Tatiana had given her. It wasn't long before the bell signaling lunch rang. Nikki and Tatiana gathered their books and ran to put their things back in their locker. They walked to the huge cafeteria and paid for lunch with their fingers. They were the last to arrive, and five other girls were already sitting on the booth.

"Guys, this is Nikki, she's new," Tatiana said hesitantly, looking for the other girls' reactions. 30 seconds of awkward silence and under-the-table-foot-kicking passed before a girl with super straight hair looked at Nikki right in the eye and simply said "Hey," This seemed to be enough for everyone and they all started welcoming Nikki and introducing themselves. In Nikki's honest opinion, they were the same as before. Not a single person changed. All of them were still the same six pretty, skinny, petty brats.Their clothes still looked like it came straight out of teen vogue and no other group could dare compare themselves with them. So far, there was Kennedy, Charlie,Audrey, Victoria,and Allison. But something was wrong. And soon enough, they would all know.
