CHAPTER 24 (VICTORIA)

Victoria had been looking at herself in the mirror for the past hour. She was wearing a short backless black mini from Dolce and Gabbana, black wedges from Michael Kors, with a dark grey black strapped clutch from Chloe. As she looked at herself, she thought of herself a few years back, and the incredible pain she had to go through to come to where she was now. She shut her eyes tight to get rid of those memories.

Then her phone vibrated and she saw that it was Jayden.

“Hey, come down,” Jayden said.

She hung up her phone and checked herself one last time. When she came out of her house she saw Jayden waiting for her in front of his car. When she quickly walked up to him, he got her wrist, put the corsage on, and hugged her tightly. Victoria wished with all her might that time froze, right here.
