Dirty Little Secret

CHAPTER 13 (ALLISON)

As Allison walked to the park, someone suddenly pushed her forward and back, almost making her trip. Allison screamed and turned around, but it was so quick that she collided with Brandon and they fell on the grass together. Everyone stood there laughing at them. Brandon stood up first and held a hand out for her. After taking his hand, they had looked at each other awkwardly until they noticed that everyone was way ahead of them.

“We should catch up, don’t you think?” Brandon said looking at the others ahead of them.

“Walk though, I hate running,” Allison replied, touching her hair back in place.

She noticed that both Brandon and her had something in common. Nobody, not even their closest friends, knew who they liked, and they were both the “leader” of their group. Brandon and her had been somewhat close to one another, but not so much in a sense either.

“You coming to the basketball game next week?” Brandon asked.

“Not if you're playing,” she said jokingly, giving him a flirtatious smile.

“Oh really? You sure about that? Because I was pretty sure I heard you talking about the game,” Brandon replied.

“You eavesdrop? I need my personal space, you know!” Allison said, sticking out her tounge.

Brandon put his hands back behind his head as a sign of surrender. Allison rolled her eyes and giggled inside. She wondered if Brandon could be flirting with her. Brandon was known for being "untouchable", girls wanted him but he wouldn't give most of them the time of day. In fact, Allison was surprised he even came to Audrey's house in the first place. To test her limits further, Allison pushed Brandon so that he stumbled, and ran to where the rest of the group was.

"I thought you hated running!" Brandon shouted over to her.

"Not if it's away from you!" Allison shouted back, giving him a wink before seeing him grin. Allison decided that if she wanted Brandon, she would need a plan. Game on.
