I sit on a seat in Forever 451. But, I suddenly hear a woman screaming hysterically. Me and everyone else who got pranked run out to see what happened. "There are two teenagers on the loose! And they're attacking everyone with," the woman falls to the ground, "condiments," she finishes. I see a little bit of yellow stained on her beige shirt. All of us can't help but smirk.
I hear a familiar scream and I know it came from Sage. I reach to her and see that she fell to the ground. She's facing Foxface whose walking towards her with soda and mints in her hands. Oh god. Without hesitating, she drops the mints in the bottle of the acidic drink and throws it at Sage. "We won!" Foxface yells as she walks from behind Sage who is currently sticky and wet from the soda. But no, Little Miss Madge starts to complain, "But a whole team had to prank the other team down! Not one person pranking everyone!" There's a long pause. "Let's not get so literal. If a person from each team got pranked, the game would be over. Now where's the fun in that, Princess?" Gale retorts.
I look at my watch. It's 4:30! "Cato! You need to take us back!" He keeps looking at me as if it's no big deal I want to go back. "Same. I have to go to guitar lessons." I relax a little.
Sage, Cato, and I run out of the mall and go straight to the car. I hope we make it.

"I got my ukulele. Do you have your voice?" I nod. Sage plays the ukulele because she thinks it's not fair that the guitar gets played more. At Scarsdale, Sage's old ukulele teacher offered her a free guitar with free guitar lessons. She didn't accept. I don't know what's wrong with that girl.
Our mom drives us to the Santa Monica Music Academy. I walk inside. "I'm Clove Kentwell." I say to the receptionist. She points to the hall and says, "Third room on the right." As I walk through the hall, I realize that every room is a different color. One is red, another is green, and the third one on the left is blue.
"Hi! You must be Clove! I'm your voice teacher, Christine." Says a cheery woman. I smile and nod; she's approachable. "You must've been through something today." She adds, gesturing to the little lines makeup from my chin and neck, and the hair dye that got into my hair. I nod and say, "Yes, today was amazing."

It's been at least five days since that prank war. The pictures of us were all over Snap. The squad actually likes me. My life couldn't have been more perfect!
But according to my science teacher, Beetee, there's always a flaw in the system. He's right. There's this feeling I get every time I'm with Cato. My stomach is in knots. Whatever this is, I. Don't. Like. It. I've never felt this way with anyone before. Although, I do find Cato attractive, his piercing blue eyes are just like mirrors. Wait. It can't be. It is. I have a crush on Cato. Ugh, I should've known this was going to happen. I have to tell Sage about this.
"Sage. AGuess what!" I call out. "What? Is Chase our new best friend?!" She exclaims as walks in to my room. Wait, does she like him? "I have a crush on someone." I state. She sits on my bed next to me. "Me too. I like Chase. He's so adorable." Oh really? I mentally say. A smirk makes its way on my face. "I like Cato. I've always liked Cato ever since we make eye contact on our balconies. There. I said it." I sigh in a happy way. Sage smiles. Not the teasing way though.
We embrace each other. "So what happened with Val?" Sage whispers in my ear. I gasp. I completely forgot about Val! No wonder for the past five days I've been forgetting something! "Okay, here's the plan. You like Chase, right?" I exaggerate. "Right." Sage responds with an eyebrow raised. "And Chase is Val's brother! Today is Katniss' birthday!"
