After we bought the house and a few years later when I was ten my mom got married to a guy named Larry he was a doctor and was what my mom said "her type" so I left it at that. Later that year my mother had me adopted (according to my mother if something happens To her Larry will take care of me and I won't go to a foster home so yay) but at my 16th birthday my mom bought me a truck it was brand freaken new like dam and she bought me a few other gifts like a new phone and laptop It was nice but was weird she never bought expensive gift she's always said she's saving but she's damn well spending "an I phone 6 mom you didn't have to" my eyes glowed with excitement "well it will go well along with this "as Larry walked up to you with a box as you opened it you screamed "A MAC BOOK " you hugged them both tight as you had a few family gifts you ended up getting 245$ and a few pairs of volleyball shorts good for practice and a few nice shirts and a pair of shoes "so I guess it is a happy birthday after all huh" I quietly mumble to myself while syncing my phone to my computer "shit it's Sunday I got school tomorrow" you sigh you walk to your privet bathroom and get in the shower shaving your legs while washing your hair and the rest of your body as you get out you look at yourself in the mirror "god I'm ugly" then you move towards the weight scale you step on and it says "123.7 lbs I lost weight you do a little happy dance then get dressed you start to do your hair in a fishtail braid so tomorrow it will be wavy

As you pull into the school parking lot you just so happen to check your lipstick in the mirror and see Luke behind your truck as you grab your bag and hopped out you hear "wow look she don't get dressed in the dark she just has a bad taste" you hear two girls snicker as you walk away and lock your truck  "good morning maddie" you hear to your left as you bestie Sadie walks up to you "damn girl your looking fine " she's talks in a ratchet voice "haha thanks god only if the boys thought that" I smiled "girl the boys is all about the booty not the smoochie" she's still talking like she's ratchet "smoochie" I laughed "your lips god dammit" I started to laugh as I walk to my locker then Luke came I was dead silent "hi ugly" he cooed "hi Luke" you reply looking into you're locker "you Better be at the tree today or else" he threatens you then he walks away "how could you let him do that and what tree and why" she hits your arm "it's nothing don't worry I gotta get to class" you walk of leaving her worried schools skips by quick as you walk to the tree you hear two voices "she showed up" it was Calum "I knew she would see so weird and ugly god" Luke said loud enough for my to hear Calum grabbed my arm and pushed me down "p-pleases y you don't have to" you were cut off by a kick in the side and laughter followed by "ha looks she's stuttering such a loser" Luke says he never hits me he just says things Calum is the one who hits me. He punches me over and over until I'm numb my lip was bleeding and bruises started to form already "let's go" Calum spoke they simply left me so I got up and left quickly until I noticed a envelope on my windshield I read it
