Ricky tried his best to take me with him to California, but the judge said you had to be at least 25 to be able to have a Guardian License. When I turn 21 and am fully an adult I was allowed to leave and fly to California to be with him and his friends but for now I had to be at The Gordannas which I hated.
Ricky tried to argue with the judge saying "If a parent would let you leave the house at 18 why did she have to wait till 21?" The judge said it was because "you would be moving to California and Ellie would have to sign the papers to be released from The Gordanna's at age 21."
Ricky was not happy. He felt very guilty leaving me behind but he looked at the bright side. He said that "when you turn 21 I will be able to see you-" The judge interrupted him saying "she won't be able to see you if she gets adopted before 21 that will be the parents decision until she turns 21."
I looked at Ricky with a sad face and he said "I will see you again even if you get adopted I promise I will search the world for you."
