A Twist Of Fate

Chapter 13

We scurried through the pitch black dark and turned around to see everyone keep running, obviously noticing where we had gone.

We puffed in thankfulness that they hadn't seen us but I looked around in confusion.

"Where are we?" I ask in an aimless direction.

"I don't know but we aren't going back out that way" He mocked and I let out a little chuckle in agreement.

"There is something over there, let's check it out" He nudges me.

"Fine by me but if I die, it's your fault"

"Don't worry, I'll protect you" I hear him say

"Great. Now I know im really going to die"

"For that" He chuckled, "You're going first" he pushes me forward and I grunt as I creepily walked towards the red glowing light at the end of the pitch black hallway.

As I walked slowly to the red light, it started to flicker and finally turned off, leaving us in the pitch black dark. Then Noah spoke.

"What the hell just happ-

Suddenly the scariest woman I have ever seen popped up on the huge screen that was right in front of me as it screamed in my ear. I scream in terror and I turn to run the other direction but got stopped by a wall, my breath was shortened. My instinctive features kicked in as I started to bang on the wall hard screaming.

"Help me"

BANG

"Im stuck in here"

BANG

"Anyone there?!"

BANG

"What the hell are you doing?" I heard a voice in front of me say.

I stopped immediately and opened my eyes as I realise I had spent the last 20seconds pounding on Noah's chest. I instantly opened my eyes and gasped, jumping backwards.

"Why are you wearing no shirt!?" I shout

"Because you're wearing it" He smirked.

"Oh" I murmured and took his shirt off my head and threw it at him.

Suddenly the lights turned out and I screamed in horror and get in ball on the ground with my eyes closed and blocked my ears.

I have this theory, if you close your eyes in the dark, it doesn't mean you're really in the dark, it just means your closing your eyes, right? Same goes for hearing, if you can't hear then there is nothing to be scared of, right? Well it works for me in these types of situations.

Suddenly Noah taps me on the shoulder and I flinch in fright, stiffening my eyes shut.

"Hey Scar?"

"Y-y-y-y-y-y-yes?" I stutter uncontrollably.

"I think I'm stuck" He moaned and I stood up in confusion, my eyes still wired shut.

"Define stuck" I chuckled.

"Well, I think I put my head through the wrong hole"

And in an instant I was only the ground, clutching my stomach with my loud laugh echoing through the hallway.

"How did you do that?" I ask out of disbelief.

"Well its dark and- just help me out of here" He moaned

I stood up and put my hands in front of me to feel where he was, trying to squint to see in the dark, that didn't really work. Suddenly my fingers caressed what felt like was his abs.
