Caden's P.O.V

After my date with Vera, which I had very much fun in. But it mostly consisted of me getting to know to her, since she can read my mind and knows everything about me. She is a very interesting person. Hybrid. Woman. Whatever.

I went to bed that night with a huge smile on my face. I think I'm falling for Vera and I'm falling hard.

Next Morning.

I woke up to the sun seeping through the curtains. I rubbed the sleep out of my eyes, then sat up and stretched. I checked the time on my alarm clock and realized something. I'll be late to my meeting with grandpa Mathew if I don't get up NOW!

I quickly jumped out of bed, took a quick shower, did my business, brushed my teeth and shaved. I dressed casually but not much, he might be my great grandpa but he's still an elder! I quickly went downstairs, grabbed an apple and was on my way to his cabin. I decided to go in wolf form since his cabin is in the middle of the forest. I got there in about 30 minutes and knocked on the door.

It opened revealing grandpa Mathew. "Hello son! You're actually on time! To be honest I didn't expect that." He gave me a warm hug and I returned. "Come on in!".

"How have you been lately? I haven't seen you in so long!" I asked . I actually really like spending time with him. He's really cool and outgoing.

"We'll that's because you don't visit me! You know you're dad doesn't like me much. So that's all your fault! And also your dad's, I mean com'n I'm a really awesome person how can he not like me!?" He faked surprise. See? That's why I like him.

"Aw com'n old man! I've been busy lately with college and pack stuff and finding my mate!"

"I'M OLD!? I'll give you a 100 bucks if you say that to Vera!"

"I'm too young to die for a 100 bucks!" I yelled out dramatically. I really don't want to see what would happen if I actually told her that. And at the mention of Vera I remembered why I'm here. The curse. "Anyways back to why I'm here!"

"Oh yeah the curse! She told me about it. In my opinion the moon goddess made a mistake by putting this curse on Vera. She basically created an indestructible power. And she made her become a bad person although I know she has to do all she does. Although she was a devil before, she wasn't bad, but she was her King's right hand and had to obey." He explained.

"That's what I think too. Maybe we can figure out a way to talk to the moon goddess, and explain to her Vera reason so she can remove it. Maybe turn her back the way she was. A devil. Do you think you can make that happen?" I asked with hope. I really don't want Vera to suffer more than she already has. The only problem is I don't know what removing the curse will do. She might die from old age. Or be human. Or stop being my mate. Or return a devil and leave me. But one thing I know for sure, is that's she will be free from her misery and suffering to come.
