Vera's P.O.V.

My eyes slowly opened to see Caden's peaceful face. He looks so adorable! I ran my fingers over his features, I can feel him relax under my touch. He sighed in content, a small smile placed on his lips. His beautiful silver/grey eyes opened and softened at the sight of me. He placed his lips on mine gently before pulling away.

"Good morning, Vera."

"Morning, Caden."

"Did you sleep well?"

"No," I can see the flash of hurt in his eyes, I searched his mind, why is he hurt?

' she must've haven't slept well because of me. What was I thinking!? I knew this was a bad idea.' I immediately gasped and hugged him tightly.

"It wasn't because of you Caden! Infact it was better than well! It was wonderful, I dreamt of my life before that night, it truly was the best night I've ever slept, thanks to you." I smiled brightly at him while showing my teeth. He grinned at me and crashed his lips to mine.

After a little more kissing we separated to take a shower, I took one in my room while he took one in the bathroom across the hall. I got out the shower and dresses quickly in black shorts, red fitted tank-top, and a white see through tank-top above. I put on white converse and went downstairs.

I walked in only to frown at the sight of everyone rushing around getting ready. Didn't Caden tell them that they didn't have to go? I groaned loudly. Oh my idiot of a mate!

"CALM DOWN" I yelled making everyone stop in their tracks. "You guys don't have to go to college to learn anymore. I can use my magic to insert all the information you need into your heads. Okay?" They were all gaping in shock before screaming and squealing in happiness, causing me to cover my ears. Ouch! Having sensitive hearing can be a disadvantage.

I ushered them all over, they literally shoved each other out the way to get here first. I chuckled and told them to stand in a line. "The process is a bit painful I'm not going to lie, okay?" Luke was first, I put my palm over his forehead and could feel my eyes glow red as knowledge traveled to him, he hissed in pain but before he could get overloaded I pulled my hand away. I did the same process to all of them, then finally after what felt like forever, Caden came down.

"What the hell took you so long!? You missed the magic dude! We don't have to go to college anymore, which means we can hang out in Vera's ho- our new home more!" Cassie exclaimed like a complete idiot while jumping up and down.

"I know she was going to do that, I just forgot to tell you. Have you taken a shower!? The water is so heavenly!" He said with a dreamy look, causing me to giggle while shaking my head. "Anyway is it my turn now?" He asked excitedly. I sighed, what they don't know is that this takes a lot of my energy to do, I am very powerful but my energy has it's limits. I put my hand on his forehead and did the process, trying to make it as less painful as possible, he flinched a bit but that was it.

"I'm sorry Caden." I mumbled while kissing his cheek.

"It's okay Vera it didn't hurt that much anyway." He grinned and kissed my nose."I'm hungry so how about some breakfast?"

After they all ate breakfast, they decided to go on a run to explore the woods. We got outside and headed to the forest. I waited for them to shift to found them all staring at me. "What? Is there something wrong?" I asked worriedly.
