Caden P.O.V.
I woke up this morning to soft, warm lips on mine. Sparks flowed through me and I instantly recognized Vera's touch. My eyes fluttered open to meet her weird, yet beautiful eyes. "Morning, Babe." She said in a soft whisper. She pressed her lips to mine softly once again and pulled back.
"Morning to you too, my Luna. I can get used to waking up like this." I said with a chuckle. I hugged her closer to me and glanced behind her at the clock. It 6 a.m.! Why so eeeearly!? Then I remembered college."Honey I have to get up for college. Are you coming today? You know since you already know everything....." I trailed off unsurely.
" No I'm not coming.....and after you move in with me none of you have to too! I have my own ways so don't ask. I have to leave now because I'm busy, so get up." She gave me a passionate kiss and disappeared from my arms. I sighed in disappointment, I miss her already. Goddess I'm so whipped!
I got up and did my morning routine and dressed in black jeans, dark green fitted polo shirt, and white converse. I quickly went downstairs and and was greeted by the smell of eggs and bacon. Upon entering the kitchen I saw my mom and a couple of other women cooking breakfast. I came up behind my mom and kissed her cheek. I think I startled her because she yelped in surprise......or happiness for me leaving, oh we'll, I'll never know.
"Good morning mom! Mmmmm smells good ladies!" I chirped happily. Nothing can make my mood bad today. I snatched a bacon off a plate and moved away from my mom's hands.
"Hey baby boy! Stop eating those bacons." She scolded, like she does every single day. I think she realized something because the next thing I knew, she was sobbing hestirecly while hugging the life out of me. "You're moving out! Who will I get to scold every morning!? I'm gonna miss you and Cassie! You guys grew up way too fast!" She wailed. All the other ladies were watching in amusement. What's so funny!? That I basically can't breathe!?
"Mom, I can't breathe." I wheezed. She loosened her grip on me a bit but didn't let go. "Mom com'n we'll visit often. Her mansion is only like 10 minutes away in a car and 20 in wolf form! And I'll mind-link you everyday! But please let go or we're gonna be late to our classes." She finally let go of me, wiped out her tears and gave me a sad smile. She kissed my cheek and went back to cooking.
After the scene in the kitchen we had our last breakfast while living in the packhouse. Everyone made small talk around the table, it was like every other breakfast, like we weren't leaving at noon. I'm glad it wasn't sad and awkward though. After our meal we got into our cars and drove to college. Everyone was staring at us as we arrived. What's their problem? I got out of the car and walked to our usual bench. Girls still try flirting with us, sluts.
We sat down and suddenly Dakota sat on lap. I gave her a disgusted look and trying shoving her off, but she just wrapped her arms around my neck and was about to kiss me until she was ripped off of me by Cassie. "Hey what's your problem bitch!? Can't you see I was about to kiss my mate!? Plus don't touch me mutt! Who the fuck do you think you are!?" Dakota screeched at my twin. Cassie made a gagging noise and a disgusted face similar to mine.
"Well, silicone last time I checked you aren't Vera, and you're definitely not my brother's mate! And I'm his twin if you're that blind!" Cassie snapped. She then let the siren go and shoved her away, and like the coward Dakota is she scurried away shouting empty threats. Cassie turned back towards us after watching her leave. "I can't believe that bitch! I hope Vera hears about this so she can eat her! Damn desperate sluts! Anyway no need to thank me Caden that was just my job." She smirks at me. I pretend to look thoughtful before I give her my own smirk.
