Chi sat at the diner table looking down at her plate. She had finished most of it, it was gorgeous foodbjt what she didn't like was that Yui wasn't next to her and she looked sad. She had barely touched anything on her plate. There were four people sat on each side of the table. Kanato was on the other side to Chi and he was sat directly opposite Reiji. Laito was next to him facing Subaru and next to him was Ayato who was directly opposite Chi herself. Lastly there was Yui sat on the end next to Ayato facing Shuu who had also finished and was sat with his eyes closed. The table was completely silent apart from the odd clatter of knives and forks as they ate. Apparently this was a monthly thing. All the brothers got together once a month and had a dinner party, organised by Reiji himself. Why exactly they did it Chi couldn't understand. It's not like any of them actually looked like they wanted to be there and they were sat in silence, not exactly like her family meals had been like back at her home in the church. Her family, she repeated in her mind. A family that she wasn't even related too but even so she still considered them family but she couldn't deny that a certain bitterness was raising in Chi towards her so called Father. She hated the way he looked so happy to have Yui but disgusted at her. It might be true that he loved her now but that didn't change the fact that somewhere deep down he probably still found her disgusting.

"It doesn't look like you've eaten very much little bitch." Said Laito appearing behind Yui. Chi immediately began to glare at him, he was to close to Yui and she didn't like it. "If you don't eat a balanced diet you'll get anaemic like the little bitch over there mentioned this morning. I'd be more than happy to feed you if you like."

"Laito. It's impolite to stand at the table while other are still eating, please refrain from doing so." Said Reiji coldly.

"Yes Sir." Said Laito standing up and walking back to his place. "But this conversation isn't over little bitch." He said looking at her from over his shoulder. Suddenly Shu stood up causing most to look at him. He stood still with his eyes closed for a little while.

"Shu?" Said Yui softly.

"I can't be bothered with this." He said in a monotone voice. Then he slowly began to walk out the room and out of the door.

"I've had it with that dead beat." Said Reiji after her left. "As a child he had everything handed to him on a silver platter. This is what happens when a child is spoilt."

"Teddy what would you like to eat next?" Kanato asked. "Let's have a banana snowball shall we?" He picked up the fork and tried to stab the snowball but it broke in halve. Kanato looked a little unhappy about this but then he lifted the fork up again and brought it back down breaking another snowball. His eyes widened and a mad smile appeared on his face. Then he started stabbing the plate over and over again, breaking it into pieces and laughing hysterically.

"He won't even take part in our monthly dinner party. He will not grace us with his presence." Reiji sighed. "That will be all for today." As soon as he said those words Subaru stood up and threw the napkin that had been on his lap onto the table. Then he began to leave. The triplets stood up in unison a few seconds after him and followed him out. Only Yui, Chi and Reiji stayed seated. Yui sighed and began to stand and Chi did the same. "Wait. Yui your table manners are disgraceful and your sister's are not much better. One of these days I will have to take you both aside separately and discipline you, is that understood?"

"Yes." Said Yui and Chi together...

Chi sighed and opened the door to her bedroom. It had been a good ten minutes after the dinner party finished and Chi had been sat alone on her bed staring at the photograph they found in their Father's dairy. Yui had kept the dairy and her own picture but Chi had kept hers. She wanted to know if the dairy was still empty. She closed her bedroom door behind her and moved a few paces until she was outside Yui's bedroom. She knocked on the door but there was no answer from inside. Chi opened the door and slid in a little.

"Yui?" She asked. The light was still on but she didn't seem to be in the room.

"Pancake's gone for a bath." Said Ayato appearing on Yui's bed. Chi glared at him.

"What are you doing in Yui's room?"

"I go where I want when I want and I came to suck Yui's blood." Chi went into the room and closed the door.

"You've already done that today."

"And now I'm thirsty again. Unfortunately pancake wanted to take a bath before I did. She's been gone for a long time and my thirst is only growing." He stood up and began to walk towards Chi with an evil smile.

"Leave me alone."

"You have no right to refuse me. You are at the mercy of your truly, now let me taste your blood." He moved forward with great speed and pressed her against the door, he began to lick her neck.

"What kind of asshole chucks a girl in a pool like that?" She asked him. He hissed at her.

"What did you call me?"

"Didn't you hear me? I was under the impression that you blood sucking leaches had advanced hearing."

"How dare you?"

"Oh I dare. You picked on my sister, I told you yesterday that's not something I'm just going to sit back and let you do."

"Oh, but she's not your sister is she?" Ayato said with an amused smile.

"Maybe not by blood but that doesn't matter. I've know her ever since I was little, I know everything about her, she is closer to me than anyone else and we were raised to believe that we were sisters, and I believed that lie. I still do."

"Your pathetic."

"And your a jerk." Chi responded. Ayato punched the door near her head in anger but she didn't even flinch.

"I could kill you. It would be so easy, just like taking candy from a baby."

"If you think death scares me your greatly mistaken. What I care about more is the fact that you nearly drowned Yui today because she can't swim."

"I didn't know that."

"Then maybe you should check important details before you go chucking people into pools." Ayato hissed at her again, showing his fangs in anger.

"She didn't die."

"Evidently not but that's not the point. You put her life at risk."

"While your here in this house both of your lives are going to be at risk."

"I'm well aware of that and I have also considered that we are most likely going to die in this house but that doesn't matter. I will try to keep Yui safe while I'm still breathing." Ayato smiled and came closer to her neck.

"How will you protect her from us when you can't even protect yourself?" He said as he sank his fangs into her neck. For the third time that day she felt more blood rush from her body. "This is amazing. It's just as good as pancakes but different at the same time."

"What do you mean different?" She asked him, her face showed no sign of pain but it was all a show. She was in pain, much pain to be exact but she would not let Ayato see her in pain. That was what he wanted. Ayato stopped drink her blood for a second and closed his eyes and smiled. Blood trickled from his mouth and down his chin.

"I can feel your blood rushing through me. It feels like I've just had the biggest energy boost ever and yet it also makes me want to curl up beside you and fall asleep. There is something about your blood that is both energising and relaxing. I feel so at ease with everything, your blood is like liquid power and I need more of it. I need all of it, if I want to be better than my brothers..."
