"Well, I better go," he said with a voice that begged for someone to tell him he didn't have to.

"Whoever said I wanted you to go," I said as I heard my voice crack. Hoping he won't notice that it was my weak side that was talking. I knew that I would start hurting the moment he walked away but I didn't need or even want him to know that.

"I'm not leaving completely just yet," he started with the smile on his face that showed me that he was happy but yet sad. "Soon though, I'll have to."

Looking down at the ground, I took a deep breath in and started focusing on what needed to be said.

"It still doesn't help. I know you're leaving here soon and I don't want you to. Please, don't." I took one more deep breath before I looked up at him. Though when I did look up, he was standing right in front of me.

His eyes seemed as if they were burning a hole into my soul and heart. I could see that he was hurting. The pain that he was feeling was somehow transferring to me. Knowing that his next words were going to heal the pain or make it worse, I turned away and started walking to the other side of the room.

The window had drapes over it to block out the now shining sun. I could see through the drapes though. The tree that was in front of the abandoned house we were in, was a tall as the trees you would see in California. Leaves were slowly changing their colors from a green to a vibrating orange and red. Their colors were amazing and their shapes slowly started decreasing like an over weighted man becoming skinny.

    "Lillian?" Caleb started, "You okay?"

When I turned around, he was leaning up against the wall to my left. The tone of his body wasn't normal. Don't get me wrong he was good looking in every way, shape and form. However you would never guess he was the football captain at our high school. Then again he wasn't like most football players.

"Yes?" I said as I was unsure about what was going to happen next.

He sighed, "Listen Lillian, even if I leave or go, there isn't a single day that goes by that this heart wishes it was able to see a girl as beautiful as you. I swear to God, there isn't any other girl that this heart of mine wants or even would skip a beat for. You are the only one that it does that for. Truly, I believe that it will stay that way for as long as it beats."

I looked down and smiled at the thought that his heart will always have a lock and that the key will always be me. The feeling inside of me wanted to tell him that he needed to stay with me and never go anywhere unless I was by his side.

"Caleb, I love those words you just said." I softly said as I began to raise my head. "But still, you are leaving. You aren't going to be near me and I don't like it."

Truly, it hurt me to know that he had just put his heart in my hands and yet I was hesitating. Deep down I knew why I was hesitating, I didn't feel right. Not because I don't truly want Wyatt to love me or even for me to love him. This relationship of ours, it needs to be together. I don't want to have to wait to see him or even be with him. We need to be together if we are going to be in a relationship. He needs to be right next to me, not miles and miles away from me.

Once I looked up at him, he put a slight smile on his face. Of course then I began to smile, which didn't help either of our cases. Waiting for him to do something, anything, I notice he had a small tear that was about to crawl down his lovely cheek.

"Okay. I understand," he said as he took a deep breath, "Well, then I just I won't leave...yet."

I looked down and smiled. By the time, I raised my head he was standing in front of me with a brushstroke lily. Smiling I looked at flower and shook my head. It always amazed me that he could do what he did. Though, I was learn what he could do but I still couldn't believe it. He always does something that is crazy for me. This time was getting me my favorite flower unless then twenty seconds.

"You do know that one day, I will know how to do things like that. Then I will be using flowers and chocolate and everything else against you." I said as he handed me the lily.

Like normally he smiled and shakes his head. "No Lil, you won't. You will let me shower you in lilies and show you that for once in your life, its about you."

He leaned down and kissed me on the cheek and pulled me into a hug. In that moment I felt complete warmth from his body. That's when I knew that this lily is what closed our deal. Well, at least for now.
