Opening my eyes I have to blink several times before everything stops spinning and being blurry. Looking around I notice that I'm lying down on the ground in Alden's lab, and holding hands with David on the right, and Nikkita on the left. I sit up, and behind me I hear four groans. Turning I see, my mom, dad, Alden, and Tara sitting up, rubbing their heads. Next to me, David and Nikkita are also sitting up rubbing their heads. "Is everyone alright?" I ask.
"I'm fine just a little headache." David reports.
"Lucky my head is pounding!" Mom complains.
"Shush, honey, you're making my head hurt more!" Dad whines next to her.
"Can everyone be quiet? My whole body hurts." Nikkita complains reporting.
"Percy and I are fine." Alden whispers calmly.
"I'm going to be sic..." Tara breaks off to the sound of gagging. I shake my head amused at everyone. I stand up stretching out my sore back from lying on the rocky floor. I help David and Nikkita up off the floor. When everyone is standing or sitting, David ask "what was that?"
"That was a flashback. And the last one I will have." I explain. "The princess was me, the David was you David of course, and Henry was my "Grandpa.""
"Oh of course that makes perfect sense!" David answered sarcastically. I frown at him, while sticking my tongue out at him. "Would you like me to give about an hour of an explanation?" I ask.
"No I'm good." David snorts, with a grin. I nod smiling, at how stupid he can sometimes be. "So what happens now?" My mom asks. Everyone goes silent and looks at me. "Why are you looking at me? I don't know!" I yell shaking my head and taking two steps back.
"Natalya you're the only one that seems to know just what's going on." My dad tells me taking a step towards me. "Look what about Alden? I'm only fifteen!" I shout. "The only thing I should be worrying about is what I'm going to wear tomorrow or what I'm going to do for my sixteenth birthday!"
"Look kiddo, just take a deep breath, and take a couple of moments to think." Dad sooths. "You can do this, just think." I nod and close my eyes taking a deep breath. First I think of the problem: Aaron Black is the "king" now. He wants me dead, and hopefully he doesn't know that I'm here right now. But how can I hear his thoughts sometimes? Then I think of the next problem: How can I stop him? I mean I'm just one kid! Then I think of a part of a solution to that: Isn't this why we recruited all those kids for? So Nikkita, David, and I wouldn't have to do it alone?
Ok, so we go back home. Then we get everyone together, and finally we'll come back here, and figure out the rest. "Ok here's the plan..." I tell them what I figured out in my head.
"That's a great plan Natalya!" Alden exclaims.
"Thanks." I say blushing. "Alden I want you to stay here, and make sure Aaron doesn't come here. If he does tell me through the book."
"Ok." Alden replies. "Is it ok if Percy stays here?"
"Yeah if it's ok with him." I say smiling. Percy nods in agreement and goes to stand by Alden. "Mom and Dad, I want you to come back to Earth with me, Nikkita, and David. I don't want you to get any more involved with this." I tell them.
"No, we want to help!" Mom complains.
"Yeah, and we are already involved, sweetie." Dad agrees with mom.
"I don't care what you want. You shouldn't have been involved in the first place. This is my fight not yours." I fire back. Mom and Dad shake their heads, and open their mouth to complain, but I give them a stare that hopefully says that I'm not taking a no for an answer. This worked because they close their mouths, without uttering a word. "Good, now that that's settled let's go." I say clapping my hands. David grabs my right hand, and Nikkita grabs his other hand. Tara holds my shoulder and my parents hold hands with her.
