Author's  Note:

I'm sorry for the long gap since June. I was taking the hardest course required for my bachelor's degree in pre-veterinary medicine, and it needed my full focus. Thank you for being patient with me. This is also my first time writing smut, so I hope it turned out well. I really hope you enjoy these three chapters!  MERRY CHRISTMAS !!!!!!!!!

After a long and adventurous day, Macaque finally returned home with his little adventurers in tow. The twins had been absolutely tuckered out from their mission, their little bodies worn out from all the excitement. Macaque was careful not to disturb them as he gently undressed them and ran them both through a soothing bath. It helped him calm down a little from the message his sister PIF had sent him about DBK being defeated by Sun Wukong's new successor and stopping DBK's territory expansion.
The warm water relaxed the twins, washing away the dust and dirt from the forest. They giggled as they splashed each other with their tiny hands.

Once their bath was over, Macaque dried them off, combing and grooming their fur with delicate care. He brushed out any tangles and cleaned their little paws and tails, giving them a thorough grooming session. The twins didn't mind one bit; their eyelids drooped as they nuzzled into Macaque's arms, ready for a much-needed nap.

"Alright, little explorers," Macaque whispered, tucking them into their shared bedroom. "Time for a well deserved rest."

He closed the door softly, not wanting to disturb their peaceful slumber. As he made his way downstairs, the sound of his mate's heartbeat pattern echoed clearly in his ears. Macaque paused, closing his eyes as he listened, smiling softly. He could hear Sandy's heartbeat growing louder and closer, his presence approaching their home like a melody that brought warmth to Macaque's heart.

Sandy was nearly home.

Macaque made his way into the kitchen, where he had already set up a small charm to keep the food fresh, ensuring everything was ready when Sandy arrived. With a flick of his fingers, he released the stasis charm, letting the food come back to life as he set the table for their family dinner. It was a ritual they'd developed over time, a way to ensure everything was perfect when Sandy returned after his busy days.

Two hours had passed since Macaque began preparing, and finally the door opened with the familiar sound of Sandy entering. Before Sandy could say a word, Macaque felt the press of his lips on his own, gentle but firm. It was a kiss that spoke volumes, full of affection and warmth. Sandy followed it with a playful Eskimo kiss, nuzzling their noses together in a tender, familiar gesture.

"Welcome home," Macaque murmured, his tail flicking happily behind him.

Sandy smiled, eyes full of love, but before he could respond, a small, loud meow demanded attention. Mo, their mischievous cat, jumped onto Sandy's shoulder, nuzzling into his neck and pawing at him for affection.

Macaque laughed, his heart light. "There he is," he said. "Always needs his moment."

Sandy grinned, scratching behind Mo's ears. "He sure does." Mo purred, curling into Sandy's arms like a king receiving his due praise.

After Mo got his fill of attention, Sandy and Macaque headed into the kitchen to finish preparing dinner. As they moved around together, working in sync, their quiet rhythm felt like home. Sandy set the plates while Macaque added the finishing touches, making sure everything was perfect.

Meanwhile, the twins stirred in their room, their little eyes opening at the sound of their daddy's voice. Savage and Rumble, still groggy from their nap, shuffled out of their bedroom, tiny paws padding across the floor. When they spotted Sandy, their faces lit up.
