I am going over to Connors house in LA. I have to take a bus there. I've been missing Connor so much, its been a month since he moved and this is the first time I'm seeing him. This bus ride might as well kill me, its going by so slowly I have to see him. I am surprising him, he has no clue that I am coming for the weekend, I texted his mom to make sure it was okay.
I arrive at the bus terminal he mom is picking me up. "Hi Jude its nice to meet you. I've heard so much about you." She laughs. "Its nice to meet you too." I put my hand out for her to shake my other hand holding my backpack. "I made sure that Connor was doing nothing this weekend so you two can have some time together. He still has no clue that you are coming today." She walks out to her car, I am following closely behind her. "Thank you for being so supportive of him and of our relationship," I say quietly to her. "You're welcome, you two really seem like you love each other. It is so nice to see Connor happy." We small talk until we get to their house.
"Connors room is up the stairs and the first room to the right. Go surprise him!" She whispered to me. My heart fluttered and there is a knot in my stomach, I'll get to hold Connor and Im so excited. I walk up to his room, I stand outside the door for a minute trying to decide wither I should knock or not. I quietly knock. "Hold on mom!" I hear as I open the door. "Jude?!" Connor squealed and ran over to hug me. He kisses my cheek. "What are you watching?"I glance over at the tv and I asked him. He paused for a moment and looked embarrassed. "A romantic comedy..." I giggled and sat down on his bed. "Well lets watch it." I said, staring at the screen across the room. Connor sat beside me and I rested my head on his shoulder. He took my hand into his lap, he rubbed his thumb over my knuckles. "I love you." I sigh out, he looks over at me and smiles. "I love you too." This is going to be a good weekend.
