Connor is coming to San Francisco for pride weekend. Its his turn to visit me. We call each other at least 5 times a week and we video chat at least once a week. Connor is happy living with his mom, she is so excepting of our relationship, I'm glad he's happy. Lena and I go pick him up from the bus station, "I see you." A text from Connor, I don't see him. "I don't see you?" I giggle down at my phone, Lena gives me a look. "Where's Connor? The rest of the people are off the bus..." I feel a tap on my shoulder, quickly turn to see Connor with a grin on his face. I hug him without a word. "I'm so excited for this weekend!" He mumbles into my shoulder. "Me too," I pull away from the hug and kiss his forehead, Im almost taller than him.
We arrive at pride parade, it is downtown San Francisco. Stef took the day off and met us at pride. The streets are full of people, music is blaring, everyone is dancing. Connor and I are holding hands jumping around, dancing. Connor is the worst dancer must I say (of course besides slow dancing). The parade is huge there are floats everywhere, people trowing candy and so many rainbows. A group called 'PARENTS OF LGBT TEENS' holding up a sign, one of the men holding up the sign look familiar. I nudge Connor on the arm, "Connor is that your dad?" I point to the man and look at Connor. His eyes widen. "It is! He's even wearing a shirt that says 'I love my gay son!'" Connor and I wave at his dad as they walk by. Adam lifts one of his hands off the sign to wave at us. I look over to Connor and he has the biggest smile on his face. I kiss him, he looks to me and I embrace him.
