"Okay, here we go. You can do this, don't be shy. Okay, nope I can't do this." Curse the day my dad got a new job, I don't understand why. Why did we have to leave? Just when I was getting used to the people at school, he decides that it's okay to just pack up and leave. Sigh. Well I guess it's a good time to introduce myself; my name is Alisson but I liked to be called Alice, don't ask why because I wouldn't be able to give you an answer, so don't bother. As you can already probably tell, I don't like people. I mean, it's not that I don't like people, it's just that well, I don't like the fact that I am socially awkward and will honestly just make a fool of myself, so to keep on the safe side I just stay away.
"Look out!" someone screams from behind me as I fall to the floor because of a forceful impact to my back side. "Sorry about that, I wasn't able to stop the skateboard from rolling, are you okay?" asks the girl who just picks up her skateboard and sends me a cheesy smile. "W-who me? Oh yea, I'm fine thanks" "okay, good, well nice to meet you, my name is Samantha but you can call me Sammy, no wait scratch that you WILL call me Sammy, go that." "Yes! Umm I mean yes, yea got it, the name is Alice" Wow, that was extremely awkward, way to go Alice. The only chance you have to make a friend and you ruin it. I look up at Sammy and smile awkwardly as she just stares at me like if I'm in desperate need of help. Great! "Okay then Alice, I can't help but wonder; are you new here?" "Ummmm, yea is it that obvious?" "Just a little" she says with a grin "C'mon I'll take you to the office to get your schedule, I guess" I didn't want to talk anymore so I just nod repeatedly, as she puts her arm around my neck and drags me away.
"Okay honey, here you go" the lady at the front desk says as she hands me the paper that contains the classes that I will have to attend. Sighing I take the paper from her hands, "Thank you ma'am" she smiles warmly at me and I turn around to walk away. "C'mon we have like 10 minutes before school starts." I walk beside Sammy as we head towards the doors that lead to the hallways. As we turn the corner, I bump into a hard wall, or so I thought. I look up making a face and mentally curse myself. He had the most amazing eyes I had ever seen and I don't know how to feel about that. He was being pulled back by a man who appeared to be in his late 40's, and as he was, all I could think was "No come back!" Really Alice get a grip, he is just some guy. "School hasn't even started yet Kyle and you already started problems." He was wearing a cocky smile as he looked at me and said, "What can I say trouble follows me everywhere" the funny thing was that as he said this, his amazing eyes never left mine and I shrunk into myself, what can I say he is intimidating. The man holding him sighed and dragged him away, only then did his eyes leave mine. Oh my god what kind of creature is he, is he even real, no I don't think he is I'm going to wake up from a dream any second now. Ughhhh I so don't need this right now, nope, I don't need it. The bell suddenly rang making me jump and look shocked. "Are you okay, you looked scared for a moment" asked Sammy. "Ummmm yea I'm fine; hey Sammy who was that hun- I mean boy who was that boy?" She laughed and said with a smile "That is Kyle Reed, he is the original bad boy, except a little worse, so STAY AWAY. I'm serious Alice, he can cause some real damage so just stay away from him and his overly friendly friend, they just scream trouble and that is exactly what they bring!" Ughhhhh, why, why, why? Again Dad, why? This is going to be an interesting year. Oh god.
