Kyle POV
"Wake up!" My eyes shot open and I looked to my side to see Alice gone. I got up from the bed and slowly walked to the bathroom to check if she was in there. When I opened the door to the bathroom I worried a bit more when she wasn't there. I closed the door and headed to the hallway. I stepped into the hallway and it was pitch dark. Weird, the hallway light is always on. I slowly made my way down the hallway and down the stairs, into the living room. I heard sounds coming from the kitchen and hesitantly made my way over. When I turned the corner I froze when I saw Alice on her knees in the kitchen floor. Behind her stood a very mad Sam and what I saw next made me weak to my knees. Sam was holding a knife to Alice's neck and was staring at me with a hatred expression. "What are you doing! Stop!" Alice looked at me with tears in her eyes and her hands reaching out towards me. Before I could take a step forward Sam said "Take on step closer and I will slit her throat." Her words made me stop immediately and move my gaze back to Alice. I wanted to run to her and cradle her to my chest and tell her she was going to be okay. Sam chuckled causing me to look at her. When I looked up at Sam she was looking down at Alice and in a teasing tone she said "I told you, that you should have stayed away from him." When she finished her sentence she slit the knife across Alice's neck casing me to scream out. "NOOOO!" I ran towards Alice and got her limp body and rested it against my chest. "No baby please. Please. Please stay with me. Please! God please I can't lose you too. C'mon, C'mon! Don't die on me Alice, you promised me that we would leave together!" I looked up to launch at Sam but when I did she was gone. I turned my attention back to Alice and started shaking her shoulders "Wake Up! Wake Up!" I felt a force shaking my shoulders causing me to black out.
"Kyle wake up!" My eyes opened and I shot out of bed only to head bud someone. I looked up to be met with Alice's painful expression. "Owww Bebe what the hell." I looked at her in shock and pulled her towards my chest. "You're okay. Oh my god, thank god your okay." She said something but it was muffled by my chest. I pulled her away and gave her a confused "what?" She rolled her eyes and said "I said of course I'm okay it was just a head bud." I shook my head and pulled her close to me and hugged her tight. "What were you dreaming about? You were shaking and crying." I shook my head trying to forget the images of that horrid dream and just concentrate on Alice, because at the moment she was all I cared for. I pulled her away from me and grabbed her chin and puller her lips towards me. I moved my hand from her chin to the back of her neck and then down to her lower back. I pulled her closer to me, and she climbed on my lap and straddled my hips, putting her hands on each side of my face, so she could hold me in place. I slowly pulled back and leaned my forehead on hers and whispered to her "I love you Alice. So much." She smiled sweetly at me and said "I love you too Kyle. You mean everything to me." I traced my fingers through her hair and laid back down, taking her down with me. We stayed like that for a while, but separated when there was a knock at my bedroom door. Mom opened the door and looked at Alice and said "Honey you have visitors." I looked at Alice and then back at mom as Alice and I both got out of bed and headed downstairs. When we got to the bottom of the stairs I saw Mrs. Hayes, and Mr. Hayes sitting down in the couch looking slightly uncomfortable. Alice cleared her through causing them to look at both of us. When my eyes met Mrs. Hayes's eyes, I felt myself tense causing Alice to squeeze my hand. Mr. Hayes immediately got up and walked towards Alice wrapping his hands around her and hugging her like if his life depended on it. I kept my gaze fixed on Alice as she hugged her dad back and hugged him tightly as well. When they pulled away, he grabbed her hand and said "Your mom didn't mean anything she said Alice, we came her to apologize, and to hopefully bring you back home." Alice's eyes never moved towards her mom, instead she kept them fixed on her dad when she said "that's great dad it is, but I'm not the one she has to apologize to. And I don't think I'll be going home with you I'm turning 18 soon and I want to stay with Kyle and his family. They have already accepted me here and I don't want to leave." Her dads smile deflated and he turned around to look at Mrs.Hayes then said "Go on, do what I brought you here to do woman." Mrs. Hayes looked at her husband, then at my parents and said "No, if she isn't going to come home with us, then I'm not going to sit here and pretend that I'm sorry for saying the truth. Kyle killed his parents and there is nothing more to it." I tensed up and looked down, not wanting to meet their eyes. I could see that my mom was going to say something, before she got cut off by my dad. "If you are going to come into my house and insult my family, you can go ahead and leave." Mrs. Hayes rolled her eyes and grabbed her husbands hand and pulled him out. I felt a hand on my shoulder causing me to look over at Alice. She gave a genuine smile and grabbed my hand leading me up the stairs and back into the room. I didn't understand how she was okay with all the problems going on. When we got to the bedroom she pushed me on the bed and climbed on me. "I know you still blame yourself Kyle. But you really shouldn't. Baby in order to heal, we must forgive, and sometimes the person we must forgive is ourselves. I know it's super hard on you but please , it will be okay. I will always be here for you. I love you." She grabbed my face and leaned in to kiss me. I wrapped my hands around her waits and puller her down on the bed. I pulled back a little and moved a pice of hair that was in her face then said "How is it that you always know what to say? I swear you know how to make me be okay. Every time that there is something wrong you just know exactly what to say and I am so great full for that." She smiled at me then leaned down to kiss me again. She pulled back and lent down to whisper in my ear "I want to." I chuckled at her comment then slightly pushed her off and got up from the bed. I walked over to the door and locked it. I turned around and walked back towards her. I took my shirt off and threw it on the floor then continued my way back towards her.
Hopefully nobody tries to come into the room.
