We all got up and followed Bumi out as fast as we could. On the path out though, Opal's hand was pulled from mine as she let out a scream.
"Opal!" I shouted as we all stopped and turned. That water armed freak had my cousin.
"No one is going anywhere or she gets it." No one made a move. She forced us back into the temple where the rest of the airbenders were already corralled.
Zaheer explained the whole situation to us. If we cooperate, we live, but he wanted Korra and he was tired of chasing her. Tenzin wasn't going to let that happen though. With the help of his brother and sister. Jinora led us out to the sky bison. But three eyes was waiting for us. We couldn't get out to the stable without getting blown up.
"I'm tired of waiting." Kai said as he grabbed his glider.
"Kai, what are you doing?" Jinora asked him, worried.
"Whatever I can." He flew out. When he had her attention we ran for the stable. When we got there though the bison were scared by the blast and driven away. We were retaken by Zaheer and he brought us to a near by cave and chained us up, leaving a couple of guards to watch us.
"I'm going to try and find a way out of here. " Jinora said and she started to meditate. After a while she returned.
"Did you find a way out?" Opal asked her.
"No, not yet. But I will find one soon." Jinora tried to reassure us.
"They might not make it that long." Bald guy said, looking over at where Kya and Bumi were laying unconcious.
"Korra is gonna come and save us, right?" Ikki asked, looking over to her sister.
"I think we are going to have to do this ourselves." Jinora told her and the two of them looked out at the guards.
"Do you think our mothers are looking for us?" Opal asked me.
"Aunt Su probably is but... I didn't exactly leave my mom on the best of terms"
"I'm sure aunt Lin is looking for you Ava. She loves you."
"Yeah, sure" I hung my head. I was ready to accept defeat at this point.
"I'm thirsty!" Ikki called over.
"I gotta pee!" Meelo called.
"Oh, so do I!" Baldy added.
"Keep it down over there!" One of the guards called. "Unless you want to end up like them." I didn't need to look to know that he was pointing at Kya and Bumi.
"Sir please. Could we just have a little bit of water. There are children and a baby here" Pema insisted. The guard came over to give us some water but when he was close enough Jinora blew some air at him and the keys went flying which Meelo blew over to Opal.
"Oh so you just called me over to attack me! Fine none of you are getting water!" The guard took a long drink from it as if to prove a point. Opal used the keys to unlock her chains but the guard saw.
"Hey! What do you think you're doing!" We didn't have time to answer because a rock knocked him into the adjacent wall. The other guard started to throw rocks at them but Asami slipped through and electrocuted the guard. Aunt Su ran over to Opal and gave her a hug, at least until Bolin pulled her off to give Opal a hug. Su took the keys from Opal and unlocked my chains.
"Go to her. She has been very worried about you." I knew who she was talking about. I looked over to where my mother was standing. She saw me looking at her but instead of looking away I ran over to her and hugged her. She seemed surprised, but she hugged me back.
