A couple days had passed and Opal was worried. I didn't blame her. I was worried about Su as well but there was nothing we could do against Kuvira on our own. I sat on the stairs of air temple island with Korra. We were just chatting. She was telling me about her time with my grandmother in the swamp while playing with Nagga, pulling up rocks and then pushing them back down. Opal walked over to where we were sitting. She looked upset and angry.

"Is everything alright?" Korra asked her.

"No, it's not alright! Kuvira has my family, our family," she motioned to me "and no one but me seems to care"

"We all care Opal. Don't worry we will get them back safely"

"There you guys are!" Jinora dropped down from above us. "I just felt a really weird spiritual feeling coming from the spirit wilds. I think something might be wrong"

"We should go see." Korra said. We were all in agreeance. We flew down using the glider suits. After looking around for a bit we couldn't find anything.

"Are you sure you felt something? Maybe you just ate something bad for breakfast" Opal suggested.

"I felt something. Maybe something happened to Riu's tour group?" Jinora was very certain that something was wrong.

"This is Riu we are talking about, he may be at the mall for all we know." Korra reminded her.

"Korra, can't you feel how strange the energy is here?" Persistent.

"No, but maybe I can get a reading." She placed her hand on the vine to try and see what was wrong. She pulled her hand off with a gasp.

"Korra what's wrong?" I asked her.

"Are you okay?" Opal asked her, grabbing her arm.

"It's Kuvira. I saw her taking vines from the swamp. That must be affecting our spirit wilds. That's probably what you were sensing Jinora" Korra told us what she saw.

"Why would she be taking vines?"

"What ever the reason, I don't think it's good."

"We have to tell Rico, this might help the other leaders to take her down."

"I'll keep looking for Riu and the others." Jinora ran deeper into the spirit wilds and me, Opal, and Korra ran out of them. We went to the old council meeting place. Rico, Fire lord Izumi, Prince Wu, Tenzin and my mom were there. Mako was as well, but more because Wu was here.

"President Rico I'm sorry to interupt but... What's going on here?" Korra wasn't expecting a meeting.

"Oh, hey Avatar Korra. Just kickin' it world leader style. Trying to figure out what to do about Kuvira. For the record I told Rico he should have invited you." Prince Wu told her, clearly trying to flirt with her.

"You invited him and not me?"

"Korra, it's not personal, we just thought, maybe we called you back into action too soon." Tenzin explained.

"Again, him, not me?"

"Korra, we are in the middle of a meeting and we can't have people just barge in whenever they want." Rico seemed flustered because at that moment Bolin and Varrick burst through the door.

"Oh thank god you are all here" Bolin said, out of breath.

"Bolin!?" We all said, surprised but happy.

"What are you two traitors doing here? Guards remove them?" Rico called.

"No, we escaped Kuvira's army! We are on your side now! We have top secret information for you!" Bolin yelled to him. Rico only gave a nod but the guards let them go.

"Okay. Maybe we should have opened with that line" Varrick said as he fixed the uniform he was still in.

"Listen to me! Kuvira is making this thing that goes Kaboom! Ahhh! I don't know how this thing works but it's line Bahahahaha..."

"It's a super weapon. It's like a regular weapon only super" Varrick cut off Bolin

"Let me guess. It has something to do with spirit vines"

"Yeah! How did you know that?" Varrick asked her.

"I saw a vision of her taking spirit vines from the swamp" Korra told them

"If she figures out how to harness their power then we are all doomed" Varrick told them

"She might use the weapon to attack republic city. The only way to protect ourselves is with a preemptive strike" Rico insisted.

"My airbenders will not be part of an unprovoked strike" Tenzin insisted.

"I would" I muttered under my breath.

"Neither is the fire nation"

"But Fire Lord Izumi, Kuvira is a threat to the world. She has to be stopped" Rico reminded her.

"The fire nation has spent way to much of it's history fighting nonsense wars and I refuse to drag my nation into another one unless there is no other choice. If you attack Kuvira you do it without my army" Izumi insisted.

"Fine. I'll hold of any plans of attack. We will go on the defensive and fortify defence on the borders." Rico said, giving in. Opal walked out and Bolin followed. I followed as well.

"In that, you will have my help" I heard Izumi say as I left.

I stood off to the side as the two talked. I felt a hand on my shoulder and looked over to see my mom. She shook her head and I already knew. She couldn't change their minds. She pulled me and Opal off to the side.

"I'm sorry kids, but Rico couldn't convince the other leaders to attack Kuvira"

"So our family..?"

"It looks like we are going to have to save them ourselves"

"Don't you think some of the others would agree to go with us?"

"This is an unsanctioned and dangerous mission into enemy territory. We can't ask other people to risk their necks for our family. If we wanna break them out we will have to do it alone" My mom told her.

"Then what are we waiting for?" Korra ran over to us.

"The spirit vine are attacking people! They took Jinora." Korra said running over to us. My mother went right into action. Me and Opal went to the island to wait for her. Pabu showed up with a message for Opal. She left and so I waited for her to come back. When the two of them got there we got Opal's bison loaded. Bolin Showed up while we were packing her. Bolin joined us as a way to win Opal back. We landed on the ridge right outside Zaofu and we all got off.

"Alright lets do this! Saving the Beifongs and saving our love because I vow to repair the rift that has grown between us!" Bolin declared to Opal.

"You, zip it now. I heard enough of your bable on the way in" My mom said as she pushed his shoulder.

"Yes ma'am" Bolin said quieter.

"Kuvira tore down all of the domes? Why would she do that?" Opal asked confused.

"She has a battalion down there. There is no way we are going to spot anything useful from up here." My mom said as she looked through the telescope. "We will have to go in for a closer look.

"Don't bother. All of the prisoners have been moved" an older voice said from behind. The four of us turned and found Grandma Toph standing there.
