When Your Art Partner Thinks Your A Super Nerd

As I was putting things in my locker before lunch. I felt a hand wrap around my waist. I took a peek behind me to see a smiling Jared.

"Hey babe." I said before closing my locker and turning to face him.

"Hey." He said before pecking me on the lips.

"I haven't seen you all day." He said pouting.

"Well Em took me to school because my car is being used by my mom while hers is in the shop. Then I've been studying in the Library during lunch for the past week. And I have a couple of major projects due soon." I said counting off the list of things I have to do.

"You sound like you need a break." He said gripping my waist.

"You have no idea." I said letting out a light laugh.

"Then let's go on a date. Don't say no." He said smirking.

"Ok. Let's go on a date." I said nodding. "But I will be studying in the library again for lunch."

"That's alright! Meet me in the parking lot after school." He said smiling.

"Alright. See you after school babe." I said smiling.

"See you love." He said smiling before walking away. I grabbed my bag and headed to the library. I felt a pair of eye on me. I looked around the hall and looked over at the only person I know would be staring at me. My eyes locked with his and he winked. He wasn't here the whole 1st half of the school day and he decides to show up now? Gosh! I need him in art! We have to discuss the project. Suddenly he pushed himself off his locker and walked over to me.

"Hey Kitty!" He said smirking.

"W-where have you been?" I asked frowning.

"Why Kitty? Were you worried about me?" He asked while his smirk widened.

"N-no." I said slowly shaking my head.

"Are you sure?" He asked getting closer.

"Y-yes." I said nodding. "I-I was just um, wondering why you weren't in art. Y-you know, because we have a um, project." I said quietly. I saw him smiling.

"W-what?" I asked confused.

"You're stuttering. It's funny. It's annoying sometimes, but mostly funny." He said smiling.

"Oh ok." I said quietly. "Well, bye." I said before turning around.

"Where are you going?" He asked. "The cafeteria is that way. I remember, you showed me." He said causing me to turn around.

"Yea, I know. I-I'm going to the um library." I said looking at him.

"The library?" He said like I had just offended him. "What the hell are you doing in the library?" He asked getting closer.

"Um, s-studying?" I said more like a question than an answer.

"What? Only super nerds go to the library during lunch." He said laughing.

"Well only stupid bad boys go off school grounds during lunch." I said back quite offended. He just stood there smiling at me. "What?" I asked.

"This is the first time you've stood up to me!" He said. "And you did it without stuttering." He added.

"S-sorry." I said quietly. He shook his head slowly.

"Don't be sorry. This is amazing. It shows that there's something in there besides a nerd." He said laughing.

"Oh... C-can I go study now?" I asked.

"No! You're coming with me." He said grabbing my wrist and pulling me closer to him before putting his arm around my shoulder.
