There I was, shimmering in all gold. That's the color of the cap and gown of the valedictorian. How in the world I still got it is beyond me. I stared at the mirror. This is it. After today my high school life is over. I move on to bigger and better things. Everything that's happened through high school. This school changed me, molded me, into the person that I am today. I came across so many wonderful, and not so wonderful, people on my journey, but I wouldn't change a second of it.

"Well, look at who's all shiny?" I heard a deep voice say from behind me.

"Oh shut it. She looks gorgeous as always." A female voice said. I turned around and smiled.

"Aidykins!" I yelled before jumping on top of him.

"Ashykins!" He yelled back holding me close to him.

"I missed you!" I said nuzzling into him.

"I missed you more." He said setting me down.

"Doubt it." I replied smiling before turning to give Tink a hug.

"Hey beautiful." She said.

"Hey gorgeous future godmother to my baby." I said smiling.

"How is the little monster?" She asked rubbing my stomach.

"He or she is giving me a break! My morning sickness has slowed down." I said laughing.

"That's good." She replied before grabbing my hand. "Are you ready for this?" She asked looking up at me.

"As ready as I'll ever be." I nodded before walking out. Even though Jared offered to drive me to school today, Tink and Aiden wanted to drive me. And well, Tink can be very convincing. We drove in Aiden's car while Tink and I sung loudly to the radio, causing Aiden to die with fits of laughter. Looking between the two of them, Tink and Aiden, I couldn't help but smile. It's funny, and amazing, how close we've gotten. They are such amazing people. I don't know what I'd do without them. We pulled up at my school and they had to head to the football field where the ceremony would be held, while the students had to go to the gym to check in and stuff. I broke through the doors of the gym and was soon attacked by Em.

"Em, careful! Bun in the oven." I said laughing.

"Oops! Sorry baby!" She said to my stomach, before pulling me into an unknown direction. "Where the hell have you been? I've been waiting here for like ever!" She whined. I walked in front of the check in table and signed next to my name.

"I was getting ready, and chill. You've only been waiting for 20 minutes." I said rolling my eyes.

"It felt like forever." She said pouting.

"I'm sorry." I said smiling.

"Apology accepted. And may I say you look ravishing in your gold." She said checking me out.

"Why thank you! You don't look half bad yourself!" I replied happily. She laughed before dragging me towards Jared ad Jake. Jared smiled once he saw me and had his arms open awaiting a hug.

"Hey there." He said bringing me into him.

"Hey." I replied sing songy.

"Are you ready for your big speech?" He asked winking.

"I've been working on it since freshman year. It has to be perfect." I said seriously.

"No guys, she's not kidding. She's been working on it since freshman year." Em added while I nodded.

"How'd you know you were going to get it?" Jake asked.

"I didn't, but I was going to work my hardest to try." I said shrugging.
