I look around me. The area looks like a large rain forest surrounding the patch of no trees. A large silvery-gray building thing sits in the patch of area without trees. I look to my left and see Ben, with the girl from District 2 next to him. To my right stands the boy from District Twelve. Great.

"Welcome to the Twenty-Eighth Hunger Games. You have sixty seconds," the announcer says. "Sixty... Fifty-nine... Fifty-eight..." I look back at Ben and look sideways and to the trees. Ben nods. The Cornacopia can be temping. Weapons. Supplies. See? Temping.

The bell/buzzer rings/buzzes and I run towards the the trees, my heart racing with fear. I quickly look back to wear Ben stood, now nowhere in be found. Knowing I may reveal his hiding place, that is if he's alive still. I run. Thankfully, no one notices me.

I finally stop running, my lungs burning. I peer out from behind a tree. Bodies line the ground, at least ten. Other than the dead, there is no one in sight. At least fourteen to go.

"Ben!" I whisper loudly. "Ben!" I call a little louder. I run. "Ben!" I hear something near another tree. "Ben?" I ask.

"Elena, is that you?" the voice asks.

"Sarah?" I ask. Sarah comes out from behind the tree. "If you're wondering, I haven't seen your brother." I sigh. "Do you want to go back and check the Cornacopia?"

"No. People may still be over there. We'll see tonight if he died, if we don't find him before then. Come on."
