CHAPTER 10

Nathan told John everything

Everything from the night Amarah and Nathan went into the house, from when he went back into the house, from the nigh the almost had sex with Jane, to Amarah talking to him, from going to the police, everything.

John was speechless, he couldn’t believe his ears. There was no way Amarah could be possessed….could there? She was such a sweet and funny girl, how could this happen to her? Is this what really happened? But the police said she had been kidnapped….but Nathan said…

"So, is that what really happened to Amarah?" John asked Nathan

Nathan nodded and gulped nervously

"Dude, I'm so sorry" John said shaking his head

John knew that Amarah getting kidnapped devastated Nathan but this? John couldn’t even imagine how this affected him. His girlfriend getting possessed? How would you react to that? Obviously not well. At least Nathan knew she was still alive, that had to give him some hope, right?

"So what do you want me to do about all of this?"

"I want you to help me" said Nathan

"Help you? With what?"

"Getting Amarah back"

"But how are we going to do that? I thought she was possessed?"

"Listen" Nathan said and leaned forward in his chair. "I know Amarah is still alive and I'm determined to get her back. Every so often she grows strong enough to come out of possession. I don’t know how but she does. We need to get her out of that house, not just so she can be with me because honestly it kills me inside without her here, but also so she can be safe again"

John nodded

"Ok, so how do we do it?"

"Well, first, I want to go back into the house just to look around, know how big it is, see where all of the rooms are and things like that, also any other paranormal things we see, there might be more than one spirit in the house"

"Alright"

Nathan smiled knowing he had picked the right guy. John had always had an interest in the paranormal

"Thanks man, this really means a lot to me" Nathan said

"No problem man, I'm happy to help you get your girlfriend back, plus, it a great opportunity to get information on that house, I always wondered about it"

Nathan got up from the couch, as did John

"So when do we go to the house?" asked John

"Tonight" said Nathan simply

"Tonight?!" said John

"Yes, tonight. Is there a problem?" asked Nathan

"No, but it's going to be hard to get all of the equipment for the paranormal search on such a short notice"

"I'm sure you can" said Nathan

John sighed not sure what he had gotten himself into, Nathan seemed set on doing this

"So what time do you want me to meet you back here?"

"Ten"

"Well….alright I'll see you later"

"Thanks man" Nathan said walking towards his kitchen

"Right…" said John and walked out of Nathan's house

Nathan smiled to himself

He was one step closer to getting his love back
