Amarah's Body chp.6

CHAPTER 6

Nathan and Jane stared at Amarah’s body with frightened looks on their faces

Finally, Jane screamed

“Who the hell is that!” she shrieked and pulled the covers of Nathan’s bed up over her to try and cover herself

Nathan just stared at the body with wide eyes as every nightmare he had ever had about Amarah came true

What was she doing here? How was she here?

Nathan scooted up close to Jane in fright and Jang clung onto him

“Nathan…!” she whisper screamed. “Who is that?!”

Nathan answered calmly with wide eyes. “Amarah”

As if she heard her name, Amarah took a step towards Nathan which only made Jane scream louder

Amarah took another step, and another, and another, until she was right at the bedside.

Amarah reached out a pale hand and Jane shoved Nathan forward

Nathan was too shocked to do anything so he just sat there, bewildered

Amarah’s ghostly arm grabbed Nathan’s and he was surprised to find it freezing cold

Amarah’s hand yanked Nathan from the bed and onto the floor. It dragged him towards the door as it walked away

“Nathan!” screamed Jane

Nathan sent Jane a frightened look but didn’t try to fight the ghostly body, for its grip on him was too strong and he was afraid of what might happen if he did try to fight back

The body dragged Nathan into the street and Nathan tried to adjust himself but just kept getting scratched and scraped by the ground

Nathan’s head hit a rock and he blacked out

Nathan woke up with a start and his hand went to his throbbing head

He instantly remembered what had happened.

He was about to have sex with Jane to forget about Amarah, when Amarah’s body burst into the room and dragged Nathan away.

Dragged him away….? It was over a twenty minute drive here, how did she…?

Nathan didn’t know the answers to these questions but for now, all he wanted to do was get out of here

Speaking of here, where was he?

Nathan looked around the room and recognized it as the room him and Amarah had come into the day she had been…well, Nathan didn’t know exactly what happened to Amarah

Nathan looked around the room and tried to stand up but something stopped him

In the corner of the room, there was a faint light

Nathan grew stiff

What was causing the light? Was someone else here?

 Out of the shadow in the corner, walked Amarah

Her eyes weren’t white

Nathan wrinkled his eyebrows in confusion but backed against the wall in fear at the same time

Amarah’s body walked closer to him staring at him

“Get away from me!” Nathan shouted

Amarah stopped walking, gave him a confused look, and spoke.

“What are you talking about? And why are you naked?”

Her voice rang like bells and Nathan’s eyes widened
