I stirred and rolled closer to Kyle's warm body heat. He tighted his arms around me and I sighed contently. I had been awake for about twenty minutes but, I was too happy to move. I just wanted to stay there with Kyle forever.
I was just about to drift off again when Kyle took a deep breath and his eyes opened slightly. He squinted at me before a smile softened his face and he kissed my forehead. "Morning, Baby."
I smiled and layed on his arm. "Morning..."
We layed there for a few minutes before he sat up and pulled me with him. I leaned on his arm and made a pouting face. "I don't wanna get up... Too tired..."
He chuckled and rubbed my bed head. "We have to. The girls are waiting."
I sighed and nodded. We picked up the blankets and the small dinner area from the night before and headed back to Kyle's. When we got there Macey and Kayla were sleeping on the couch.
I smiled and combed Macey's hair. "We should get home." I said.
Kyle nodded and I woke Macey, telling her it was time to go. She said goodbye to Kayla and Kyle gave me a short but, sweet kiss before we parted ways and my sister and I began our walk home.
Macey still looked pretty tired so I picked her up and carried her on my back. She rested her head against my shoulder blades and smiled. "Did you have fun with Kyle last night?" She asked sleepily.
I chuckled and nodded. "Yup. I had alot of fun."
"What did..." She yawned. "... you guys do?"
I smiled as I remembered it. "We had dinner and Kyle gave me a birthday present."
"What'd he give you?" I could tell by her voice that she was trying to wake up a little.
I shrugged. "Hair dye."
She laughed lightly and rubbed her face in my back. "That's nice..."
"Yeah..." I stared dreamily at the ground as I carried Macey. As we got to the house I noticed two cars in the drive. One was Auntie's and the other belonged to Chase. I frowned and lowered Macey to the ground. "Come on. Let's hurry."
I held her hand as we quickly ran to the house. I pulled out my key and unlocked the door, pushing it open and walking in. "Hello? Auntie?"
My stomach twisted when I saw my Aunt sobbing at the kitchen table, her head in her arms. Chase was rubbing her back as she cried. I stepped forward. "Auntie-"
They both looked up and stared at me. I could see that my Aunt had bags under her eyes. Then my Aunt stood up and bolted towards me. I frowned but, soon realized that she didn't care about me. She went straight for Macey and hugged her tight. "Oh, my God!" She said trough her tears. "I was so worried! I thought you weren't going to ever come back!" She looked Macey over and checked her for wounds.
I frowned. "Sorry. I didn't know missing a meeting would-"
She stood up and turned to me with a glare. "Kayson Tey! What is wrong with you?!" I was taken aback and I blinked in surprise. "How could you do this?! Macey was gone all night and I didn't know where she was! You didn't call! You didn't bother to tell me anything! I thought she was dead or that you had run off and taken her with you! I already lost my sister! I can't lose my only niece too!"
I my eyebrows drew together. Macey? She was only talking about Macey... Was she only worried about her?
She had stormed towards me and backed me into the wall. Chase hurried forward and took her arms to keep her from hitting me or hurting herself. "Kayson, I can't believe you!" She was glaring but, had tears running down her face.
