*Emily's POV*

"Hey!" I greet him as normal as I could. But it's not that easy since my red cheeks and nervousness don't help.

Knowing myself, it will take me a long time to feel comfortable while I'm talking to him. He isn't a person who would just randomly talk to you.

Ignoring these thoughts, I scan his face quickly so he wouldn't know I am checking him out. His unusual green eyes are bright as always. His smile is warm making you feel nice around him and my favourite part - his light brown hair is messy in a sexy way. I hope you'll stop fangirling soon, Emily.

"Why is a pretty girl like you sitting alone?" he says in a deadly hot Dutch accent. I notice the flirtatious tone in his voice and I feel my stomach tighten.

"Oh I- umm just left my family because I was bored, that's all" I say trying to hide my nervousness. Damn. I mentally slap myself for being boring. To my surprise, he chuckles lightly

"I can feel you. Sometimes they're a pain in the ass" he says looking down his shoes. I nod grinning. Suddenly a question pops into my head.

"How did you know I don't speak Dutch? I mean we're in Amsterdam, right?" I take a risk and ask him a question to make it less awkward.

"Well I saw you before with your family and kind of heard their conversation in English." He explained.

"Oh" I reply simply.

"And nice phone wallpaper by the way" he says with a huge grin in his face. I give him a confused look but then I realise my phone wallpaper is a photo of him. My cheeks turn red again and I smile.

"Well thank you" I say making him giggle a little. After that we both stare around. It becomes awkward again. I still can't believe that my idol is sitting next to me,talking to me,smiling at me and act like he has known me for years.

"So.. Do you live here?" Thank god, he breaks the silence with a less boring question than mine

"No,I'm on holidays for the rest of the summer. I actually live in USA" I explain staring him again. This time he nods smiling, but he is thinking of something. Oh I wish he knew it's the best day of my poor little life.

"How about you?" I regret asking for being so nosy at his personal life. I was ruining my chance to actually talk to Martin Garrix with my epic stupid questions.

"I am free for 2 months to visit friends and parents but I'm going back to America when I'm done" he answers. "Probably in USA" his smile grows, winking and I smile back as the wink sent butterflies in my tummy immediately.

"I have to go now" he says glancing at his phone screen."What's your name by the way?" he asks restinv his hand on my shoulder lightly. The contact of his touch send sparks flying inside.

"Emily" I reply, feeling excited.

"Nice to meet you, Emily" he says giving me a big smile and walks away after standing up from the bench.

His unique sweet smell stays back though and it gives me goosebumps as I smell it. I watch him as he walks away and drown in my seat smiling like an idiot. It was the best moment in my life, although it lasted 5 minutes. I place my hand on my beating heard and I flinch at how fast it goes. I let out a small squeal of happiness and stand up slowly.

I decide to go back to the restaurant though, not wanting to ruin this amazing day having my parents searching for me in the city.

I walk into the usual boring restaurant acting like nothing happened. My eyes spotted the table my family was sitting and walk towards it. To be honest, I still want to meet him again and I wish it with all my heart.

Well who wouldn't want to see him, duh?
