**Emily's POV**

After a long, tiring 6 hour drive,I was standing in front of our house in Amsterdam. My parents had already told me that my Aunt Kate and Uncle Ken were living in that house with their daughter, aka my cousin, Jenna.Jenna was 2 years older than me.19 in fact.To be honest I didn't remember her.I doubt if we ever met.

"Hey there!Welcome!" a lady who might was in her mid 40s greeted us.She probably was my aunt.We greeted back and my uncle helped us carry our stuff inside the house.

"Oh honey look at you! The last time I saw you, you were a tiny chubby 3 year old child! Now you are a gorgeous grown up woman" my aunt exclaimed making me blush.

As my parents talked with them,I checked out their house. It was small, yet comfortable and well decorated. My eyes landed on a girl with dirty blonde hair on her phone, wearing a dress which barely touched her thighs.I guessed that was Jenna. The fact that she didn't greet us made me frown; we wouldn't get along for sure! But still I decided to get in her good side,so I walked towards her and cleared my throat. She looked up at me with a questioning look, like I was here everyday.

"Hey.I am Emily, your cousin" I gave her my best smile.

"Yeah I know.." she said with her Dutch accent, without caring.

Oh, at least we welcomes me (Note: sarcasm)

"Can you please lead me onto my room?" I asked kindly. She just sighed and placed her phone on the table near her seat. She stood up showing better her long legs and made a wave at me to follow.I noticed her lazy walking.I bet she was a couch potato and act like a lazy ass all day.Anyway, I shouldn't have a bad opinion about her because I met her like a moment ago.

She opened the door to my room and gave me a small smile.I guess that was a good sign.I closed the door behind me and began to pack my clothes and the rest stuff.

I was tired af,so I lied on my bed.I glanced at my phone's clock and realised it was 1 pm.Still, I wanted to take a nap.I closed my eyes softly and waited until I fall asleep. Then,my door shot opened and I pouted.

"Wake up we're going out to dine" my mother literally shouted in my ear.I groaned with eyes still closed, showing her how tired I was.

"We are all tired but please.I have to see these people like 10 years!" she said seriously yet sweetly begging me.

"But we have like 3 months ahead. You can go out tomorrow or-"

"Please,Emily Rachel Evans" she cut me off.Oh she always called me with my full name to make me change my mind because the situation was too serious.I sighed heavily and mentally cursed.

"Fine!" I said getting up and tried to grab a tank top but her humorless laugh interrupted me.I gave her a confused look.

"Dress formal" she ordered. And with that, she left the room.

I rolled my eyes and searched for "formal clothes".I grabbed a pink skirt which reached at my mid-thigh and a white short tank top.I wasn't in mood to wear heels so I decided to wear flats.I didn't bother wearing makeup so I left the room after taking a purse with my phone in it and a little money just in case something happens.I walked downstairs and everyone stared at me in awe.Even Jenna, who was wearing a black pencil dress and black high heels making her look nice.Hot,actually.

"Whoah,I made this" my mother said proudly making me smile.

"I helped" my father added.

"Ew,dad you just ruined the copliment" I said making everyone laugh.

We were going at the restaurant by feet. They told me it was about 800 metres away. The adults were talking about random things, lefting me and Jenna behind. As usual, she was on her phone without noticing the stares from the guys around.I was about to break the silence but she turned her phone off and walked faster, joining the others.I just sighed and decided to deal with it.

Instead of talking,I kept being silent and admired the view of the city.It was so interesting and beautiful and I was so focused on it,that I didn't realise we arrived at the restaurant. It was a dull restaurant with boring grey walls and classical music on the background. It was almost empty by the way, and I admired how my family picked this very nice restaurant.(Note sarcasm)

Everyone was ignoring me talking about their own random stuff, like all the adults use to.Time passed so slowly,it was still 3 pm and I couldn't wait to go home.I excused myself and went out of this stupid restaurant. From its appearance,I thought their food could be poisonous.I spotted a bench,on which a man wearing a hoodie was sitting, not showing his face.Ignoring him,I sat besides him and opened my phone, literally dying of boredom.

Suddenly, the mysterious man took off the hoodie and stared at me,as I saw from the corner of my eye.

"Hi" he said smiling, after I looked at him.My jaw dropped. My palms sweat. My heart beat rapidly as I saw the boy who I was admiring his work for life.
