I woke up with a killer headache and my whole body sore. I'm used to it though, I got dressed and put on make up for the day.

I walked into the kitchen and Darry was making breakfast
"Hey kiddo, how ya feeling?" He asked me. "Not to bad just a bit sore" I replied. I continued to the ice box and grabbed a bit of chocolate milk. Darry gave me a pain killer, ponyboy walked into the room and sat down next to me.

"Hey Carolina, you wanna go for lunch? I'll buy you something" he smiled at me

"Sure ponyboy just let me get a jacket, is Johnny coming?" I asked him

"He's probably on his way here or at the lot we can go meet with him" ponyboy said tying up his converse

I walked into the room I was staying in and grabbed my jacket and met with pony at the door.

"Ready to go?" Pony asked standing by the screen door. "Yeah" I grinned at him

We walked in silence, until

"So what happened last night? Did you get jumped? I seen soda bandaging you up and you seemed to be in pain" he asked

I'm not going to lie to ponyboy

"Well yeah I got jumped by some fancy dudes riding in a tuff car and yes I was in pain." I told him

We were walking until we met up with Johnny

"Hey johnnycakes" Ponyboy said

"Hey guys so what are we up to?" Johnny asked casually

"Lunch I'm buying" pony stated

I did nothing but giggle a little

We arrived at the lunch place and we sat down, I was too sore to care about anything right now.

I can't believe it on my first day here I got jumped how stupid of I to go out when I should've clearly knew the upper class jumped us greasers.

I moved from a abusive house just to come here and ge- "Carolina" Ponyboy got me out of thought. "Sorry I was thinking, what's up?" I asked

"What do you want to eat?" Ponyboy laughed

"A burger or whatever you're having" I said quietly

I must have been really deep in thought

We walked back home in silence we laughed at lunched and now we're all full walking back home to go eat more. Logical right

We entered the house and the whole gang was there. Soda walked up to me and asked me if I was alright, I blew it off and said I was okay but really I was sore as hell. usually I would be mad but it's my first few days here I don't what to cause trouble right away with the socs.

It was around 3 pm when Darry came home

"Off early?" Ponyboy asked

"Yeah we finished our latest project" Darry smiled

I wasn't feeling to great so I went to the room pony and soda put me in and took a nap.

I woke up feeling much better but just a tad bit sore. I got up out of bed and walked into the kitchen. Nobody was home

"Ponyboy? Soda? Darry?" I yelled and the clock only read 7:48 pm I looked out the window and the truck was in the driveway.
I walked around the house confused to see a letter on the floor near the living room.

It was a grocery list

"Hm" I shrugged my shoulders and walked outside with no shoes on.

I looked around a little bit and I seen soda and pony on the roof watching the sunset.

They must not have seen me cause they didn't say anything, I walked back inside and sat on the couch.

"Where the fudge is darry at?" I'm so confused, I walked down the hall into my "room" and grabbed the blanket off my bed and took it to the living room on the couch, so I could be warm.

For my second day here it's been relaxing but sore.
