endless love (Johnny Cade)

As the writer of this story, i just want to let everyone know great things take time! i've come up with a series of chapters along side the greatest minds i've ever know, and took suggestions from people from my snapchat for this following chapter.

Carolina POV

I couldn't believe Steve Randle asked me out last night. My head was in the wrong mind set to even think about going on a date right now, what about Johnny?

I wasn't even sure what I felt for Johnny but for some reason this didn't feel right, It felt like if I went on this date it would like closing off that route to him. But then again,  What if Johnny doesn't even feel the same way about me? 

I had all day to get ready for this date, I could take a rain check and tell him I'm sick. God but that would literally tell him I'm blowing him off. I ran around all day trying to figure out what to do, my heart was racing insanely and my mind was fluttering like crazy. 

I was jogging around the house trying to find my left shoe, under the couch? no. Under this couch? nope. Over here? "PONY" I yelled out. 

"YEAAAAH" I heard from the distance as I rolled my eyes.

 "CAN YOU COME HERE" I yelled back. 

A very confused Ponyboy appeared, "Yeah Car." He said quickly as he came in from outside.

"Have you seen my left shoe? you know the one that looks EXACTLY like this" I pointed to my right foot.

He gave me a funny look that read 'why would I need your shoe' 

"oh cmon, I know your feet are the same size as mine Pony now hand it over" I teased him.

"Ha-Ha" He chimed in, "All seriousness Car, no I haven't. But I left Johnny outside waiting, so I'll see you after your date you have fun." he tried to run out the front door. "WAIT"

He turned back to face me, and gave me another questionable look. 

"Tell Johnny I said hello." I told him as I looked down and walked away. 

PonyBoy POV 

"Carolina said Hello" I told Johnny as I sat down next to him on the porch. 

"She did?" He passed me the weed we were sharing, "Yeah, she looked a bit sad or something, or maybe tired?" 

"Why?" He asked me quietly. I shrugged my shoulders at him, "girls" I giggled and he smiled back at me. 

"Is she going on that date tonight? with Steve?" He asked as I passed him back the smoke, I nodded my head. 

Johnny seemed to always have something for Carolina, It wasn't noticeable but it was there. We all thought it was kind of cute, Since we were kids it was kind of a thing you know, we'd always see him and the way he looked at her, and how he looked out for her. When I told him about her coming back, I could've swore he was trying to hide his excitement. 

He didn't do it well though. 

"Why couldn't I of just told her Pony?"

*"AHAA we knew it" I bursted out in glee . *

I shook my head, "What? told her what?" I imagined that. 

"how I really feel Pony, now shes off with Steve."
