"Im okay darry, just feel a bit weird adjusting to this you know?" I said truthfully.
He leaned over and put his hand on my arm, "It's okay Carolina, you'll get used to it! these butt heads are no different than before" He said calmly, "Hey, i ain't no butthead." Steve said while stuffing his mouth with cake.
Steve leaned on my chair, "Hey carolina, wanna go on a date?"

"What?" Darry and I said aloud
"You know like a date, me and you" Steve said taking another bite of cake.
I didn't know what to say or think, I look over at Darry and his face was as confused as mine.
"Yeah sure, when?" I asked him calmly
"I was thinking tomorrow at 8?" he said taking the last bite.
"Yeah, sounds wonderful! I'll be here!" I told him with a smile
"Great!" He smiled and walked to Soda's and Pony's room.
