"I'm so sorry for your lost Miss.Turner" the officer said putting a comforting hand on my shoulder I nodded sniffling "thank you" I said wiping away my tears
"We are going to have to place you in a foster home till we can locate your father do you have anytime of information that can help us?" The officer asked
I shook my head "all I know is that he's in a popular band my mom wouldn't tell me anything else" I said shrugging my shoulders
He nodded writing it down on his notepad " alright miss.turner please follow me" the officer said leading me outside the hospital my mom had just died of lung cancer she was my rock o don't know what I would do with out her
We got inside the cop car and drove to the foster home I put in my earphones letting All Time low's Therapy consume my ears as took a look at my surroundings
***5 minutes later
"We're here" the officer said I looked at the building in front of me west side orphanage
I sighed getting out of the car and followed the officer inside I looked around while officer talked to head person lady
"Okay she will be in good hands officer hunter" she told the officer the officer came to me and handed me his card "call me if you need anything sweetie" he said I nodded and he left
"Alright my name is mrs.axel follow me upstairs please" she said I nodded grabbing my bags "alright this will be your room for now you will be sharing with Ashley" she said opening the door to reveal a preppy looking girl
"Ashley this is Maria she's gonna be staying with you for a while" Ashley nodded and mrs.axel left
"So how come you're here?" She asked trying to strike up a conversation with me "Um my mom died" I said setting my stuff down it was just a pictures of me and my mom
"Oh I'm sorry about that" she said I just sighed laying down "well good night" she said turning off the light "night" I said closing my eyes from the long day I've had
