Juliet had told me what Maria had said at the funeral and I'm so proud to call her my daughter, Yeah not many kids call there dead mother a bitch but she did it with love. Jenna honestly raised a great kid and I'm so sad I wasn't there for the majority of her life I missed so many important things. What matters most is that now that I have her I cam make up for lost time.
I snapped back to reality at the sound of Maria's laughter, Ashley was tickling her and it looked like he wasn't planning on stopping anytime soon "okay, okay I'm sorry!" Maria exclaimed in between laughs "what are the magic words?" Ashley asked with a smirk on his face "Ashley is my favorite uncle!". She said in between laughs Ashley stopped and sat next to her "now was that so hard to say?" She rolled her eyes and smiled playfully at him and nodded her head
I chuckled looking at my daughter and band mate. I often wonder what would've happened to Maria if Juliet hadn't threatened me to heron. The thought haunts my head often, I hate myself for ever even thinking of not keeping her.
"Dad!"
I snapped out of my thoughts and zoned back into reality as I saw Maria's face in front of mine I smiled "what you thinking about?" She asked eying me curiously and sitting down next to me
"About how much I love you and what a great girl your mother raised" I said she smiled and embraced me in a hug "I love you dad" I smiled and hugged her tighter
"I love you too sweetie, always will" I said kissing the top of her head
