Maria's p.o.v.
Dad and I were taking a walk along the park after he got back from where ever he was with the rest of the guys he said he wanted to spend some "father daughter bonding time the bad ass way"
"Maria I hope you know I never intend for you to grow up with out a father I'm truly sorry" Andy said said after a long moment of silence between us
"I know that now but I never held it against you, it was always difficult growing up with a single parent you know? my mom worked 2 jobs so we could keep up with payments I never saw her as much as I would've hoped after she got diagnosed I saw her a lot more but not in the way I wanted" I told him sadly
I never held anything against him there's two sides to every story and until I heard andys I wasn't going to hold a grudge to something I didn't know the full story to.
"Did your moms side help you guys you know after she got diagnosed?" He asked I nodded "barely but they helped" I told him
"I'm not going to leave you ever again Maria I promise you I won't I've missed out on too much of your life already and I don't intend on missing anymore" he said after a long pause his words made me smile
"Thank you Dad for everything" I said giving him a hug which he returned "you're welcome kiddo" I could see the smile tugging at his lips
"Come on lets go back to the bus kid we have a show later" he said putting his arm around my shoulders I put my hand around his waist and we headed back to where the rest of the guys were waiting on us
