Maria's POV•🍥 One Week Later
I woke up from a huge bump the bus hit. My first instinct was to panic, but what had stop me was the bus kept on moving. I quickly remembered that I'm not home, I smiled.
This week was filled with anxiousness. I was excited, yet nervous. I just couldn't to be on tour.
I wonder what tour is going to be like? What's it like to be in different cities every night? What's it like to meet different people everyday? I guess I have to find out.
Getting up, I quickly slipped out of my bunk and grabbed my clothes. I grabbed a nice black sweater, blue jeans, socks, and my everyday black Vans. I brushed the knots out of my hair and let my natural wavy hair play in. I walked out of the bathroom, into the lounge and met a long haired guy digging through the fridge. CC. Right?
"CC?" I questioned. He turned around and smiled as he shut the fridge.
"Morning kiddo." CC greeted as he came up to me and ruffled my hair. I laughed.
"Uh, where's the guys?" I asked as he sat down on the couch.
"The girls went to get food," CC said, "and I agreed to babysit you." I chuckled and nodded.
"Thanks."
"No problem." CC smiled.
CC and I watched various movies, ate popcorn, and told weird stories of experiences we've been through. Apparently if you're part of a post hardcore band, various young girls will ask you to sign their boobs. Pretty weird on my opinion, but hey it works?
"And thats why you should never trust a guy with a suitcase at a bar." CC explained at the end of one of his stories.
"Did all of that happen in less than twenty minutes?" I asked before chewing on my gummy worms.
"Yep." CC said, popping the p.
Apparently, cheap tattoos at bars aren't a good choice. CC learned a valuable lesson.
"So," CC started as he took a gummy worm from my pouch, "what's something your learned?"
"Hmm..." I started, "well, I learned that you can never trust my mother's side of the family."
"How come?"
"Because their mean, they didn't like that my dad left. They've always treated my mom and I badly." I said.
"Do you blame you blame your dad for that?"
I sighed, "No, their just stupid closed minded people." I admitted.
"Good, your dad and Juliet are good people, you know that?" I nodded. "And you know the guys and I love you too? Right?"
"Yeah..." I smiled as I said lowly.
CC's right, at least I'm with Andy and Juliet. They're good people, very good people. I'm very happy I didn't end up with my mom's side of the family. That would be bad. Other than that I'm very grateful. I should just forget the past and enjoy what I have now... My dad.
