Chapter 18

Maria's POV•🌿

I woke up to the sound of the band Korn playing in the bus' living room. After my mothers funeral, it was back on the road for me.

After the funeral, I've realized that there is a better future ahead of me. My mom wouldn't want me living in constant pain. It isn't worth it.

During the tour, so far, I've experienced basic fan girls just wanting to hurt me. Why? Dad already announced that he has a daughter and that she is on tour with him. I've been getting constant hate from left to right. At first, I was hurt. At the fact people judged me before meeting me. Now, I don't care. In a sense that it was constantly and it got old. It made me realize that people have too much time in their day.

"Maria." Dad called me.

I yawned as I slid out of my bunk and walked to the living room. There I saw dad, CC, and Jake.

"Morning sleeping beauty." Jake smirked at me. I only gave him a fake smile and walked to the fridge. Both dad and CC laughed.

I grabbed orange juice and a cup from the sink. I made sure it was clean of anything before I used it. I mean, I need to since I'm living with five guys for the next couple of months.

"Hey, ready for the day?" Dad asked very causally.

Andy's POV•✨

Okay, so today I thought I take this day off and hang with Maria. Lately I haven't spent father daughter time with her. Mostly because of touring and unnecessary rumors that I had to clear up.

Today, we're spending the whole day in Valencia, California. The one thing fun in this city is Six Flags. Maria told me she's never been to an amusement park, so this will be her first time riding a rollercoaster.

"Uh, yeah!" Maria said with a smile. I smiled back.

Maria's POV

The guys decided they would come with us too. It's going to be fun since they're going. This would be my first time going on a rollercoaster. I'm a little nervous but, I know my dad would be next to me.

We got to the park and rushed inside after parking the bus.

After searching for a ride we all could agree on, we hurried in the lines. Some people asked for pictures, and I took them. I'm not meaning it in a bad way, in the sense that I'm seeing people who love the guys and my dad.

I just love seeing them smiling while standing next to them.

Finally, were next in line for the ride. My hands started to sweat, I felt shaky. I looked up to my dad, he was smiling and talking to CC.

The gates opened, I was sat next to dad. Slowly, the bars to hold was back came down on us. Dad checked my belt to see if I had it secure.

"Ready Maria?" Jake asked behind me.

"I'm a little anxious, but I'll be okay." I admitted.

"I'm here sweetie." Dad assured me. I smiled and nodded slowly.

"Welcome to Viper, keep your arms and hands inside of the ride at all times. We are not responsible for missing items. Have fun!" the guy in the microphone said really unhappy.

Slowly, the ride went active. As soon as I knew it, we were off.

I had my eyes closed, up until everyone started screaming. I saw how high up we were, it was great. I turned to my dad too see him smiling and screaming with his arms up. My smile came back and my arms went up. I started screaming, it was fun.

We went up, down, around, everywhere.

The ride came to an end. It was the most amazing thing I've experienced.

When we got off, we went everywhere. And I mean everywhere. It was pretty much the best day ever.

Buuuttt I went to Self Help last Saturday! And the pic is when A Day To Remember ended their set, and they were A M A Z I N G.
