Due to recent events, I don't know how to feel. My mom was the closets thing I have in the world. Being an only child wasn't easy. The fact of being alone when my mom was a work really bothered me, but at the same time I knew my mom was doing it for me.
I laid in my little bed just starring at the cracked ceiling. Looking to my left I saw Ashley fast asleep. Who knows how long she's been in this home. Isn't it funny things can be taken away from you within a blink of an eye? The 'only' person I have is my so called father. I only know he's in a band, that's it. I wouldn't know which one because I'm not really into bands.
Bands.... Just bands. The only great thing about them is their music. That's how I really see it.
I closed my eyes and brought the thin blanket over my face, trying to erase every horrible memory I have. Including my dying.
✨✨✨
"Twelve through one is lunch, after that we have free time." Ashley explained to me as we both walked down the halls of the orphanage. She's also giving me a tour with it.
It's been only the second day but I'm already comfortable. I mean this orphanage has given me a reason to trust them. They're not like the cliché stories I read, with their bad foods, and the adults miss treating the kids. That would be a report, I mean have a little common sense.
"So what time is it right now?" I asked.
"Umm," Ashley said as she looked up to the nearest clock on the wall. "Twenty minutes to twelve." She said with a smile. "Want to keep on walking?"
"Sure, why not?"
🌸🌸🌸
Ashley introduced me to re rest of her friends, they seem nice. If you can tell, I'm still a bit shy. Yes, everyone is giving me reasons not to be, but being shy is in my nature I guess.
So far, the rest of the orphanage is beautiful. Not just the decor, but the people. That's what I have to say. Now I'm playing jump rope with Ashley and her friends.
"Maria Turner." A woman called out my name. I turned to see the woman standing there.
"I'll be back guys." I said as I walked off.
"Alright, but you're missing the fun!" One of Ashley's friends teased me. I smiled and kept heading to the woman who called me.
"Hello Maria, how's your stay?" The lady as we both walked off inside the building.
"So far, good." I said lowly.
"Wonderful." She said. "Do you know why we're calling you in?" She asked.
I got a bit nervous and shrugged.
"No need to be shy, it's nothing bad. More like good news." She said.
As we entered the main office, the lady sat me down in front of the desk. There was the head lady, she runs the whole place I hear.
"Maria?" She questioned, I nodded. "You may know me as Mrs. Austin," oh I know her now, "and u have very good news." Mrs. Austin said with a smile.
What's with all this good news? I just want to hear it now!
"What is it?" I asked.
"We found your biological father." My heart skipped a beat the second I heard 'father'. How did they even find him? "His name is Andy Biersack, from what he said, he's in a band called Black Veil Brides." Black Veil Brides? Cool name.
"Is that all?" I asked.
"Oh, and he's coming to meet you tomorrow."
I'm not sure if he's my dad, but the dude is in a band and that's what my mom said. My 'dad' is in a band. Let's just hope things will be better tomorrow.
Andy's POV
"Juliet, have you seen jacket?" I yelled to my girlfriend downstairs.
"In the washer, it's stinks Andy." Juliet yelled back. I groaned knowing that it's literally my only jacket that's clean, or was. "Wear a blazer!" Juliet suggested.
Basically tonight is the release party for the new album, IV. I'm super excited because I'm very proud of this album, I literally put my heart and soul into it.
I took out the blazer out of my closet and quickly slipped it on.
"Babe, you ready?" I asked her as I quickly went downstairs.
"Yes! I am." She said.
"Okay so when does the party start again?" I asked.
"One, we just have to bet there to set up everything at CC's place." Juliet reminded me as she fixed my blazer.
"What time is it right now?"
"Eleven fifty Andrew, and don't be nervous!" Juliet said as she put her hands on her hips.
I sighed as I looked at my shoes. Suddenly they became more interesting than my career.
"Andy!" Juliet said.
"I'm not nervous, I'm just-" Juliet cut me off.
"Nervous?" Juliet chucked before kissing my cheek. "Andy, I love you, I will always will." Juliet said as she put her soft hands on my face and looked into my eyes.
Juliet always seems to find away to makes thins better, one of the reasons why I love her.
"You're amazing Andy." Juliet whispered. Seconds later my phone rang. I sighed a bit annoyed from it.
"Hello?" I answered without looking at the screen.
"Hello, is this Andrew Biersack?" A woman asked.
"Yes," I made a strange look to Juliet.
"Who is it?" Juliet mouthed to me. I shrugged my shoulders in response, but I kept talking to the lady.
"Good! My name is Mrs. Austin, I'm from West Side Orphanage. I'm calling to let you know we have your daughter, Maria Turner."
What in the fuck is going on?
