I turn on his tv and raid his fridge before the game starts and I take a seat, covering myself in a blanket that smells like him. Like the best smell I've ever encountered. It's the seventh inning and they scan the dugout of all the players, I love when they do this because you get to see their handshakes and how they interact but not today. Today they go to scan the dugout but focus in on one player, one player that is my player. And he's a player all right.

A brunette is propped up in his lap and they are quickly kissing. I feel the warm tears fall from my eyes as I fling the blanket off of me and grab my keys. I leave the door open as I leave maybe part of me hoping someone will steal everything and ruin him like he has to me.

•Maggie POV•
I call Sam knowing she just saw what I saw and she picks up on the first ring. "Coming home" she says and quickly hangs up and I heard the sadness in her voice. I decide to keep watching and I am only impressed by what I see. Kevin throws this girl off his lap, slapping her face and I see Jake come up and hold Kevin back as he yells at the girl. The announcers zoom in on her face and I don't recognize her but I do recognize the anger in Kevin's face towards the girl. They aren't even showing the game at this point, just the dugout drama as Jake escorts Kevin into the clubhouse. I'm interupted by Sam walking in and I immediately wrap her in a hug while she stands there and cries. "It's ok it's all a misunderstanding" I try to explain what I know she missed but she doesn't want to hear it and she cries harder. I feel a tear drip down my face and I curse my pregnant hormones. "I-I loved him" Sam whispers. Part of me wants to scream I knew it but I stay quiet and let her cry it out. We are interupted again when Jake walks in and joins our hug.

•Jake POV•
She loved him. Sam must've saw what happened by the way she's crying into Maggie's shoulder and I'm quick to join the hug to comfort my little sister. I can tell she only saw the first part by the way she's mad at Kevin and not that girl. Kevin did nothing wrong other then slapping a girl but she definetly deserved it after kissing him when he has a girlfriend.
