"Babe are you almost ready?" Kevin asks excitment crawling through his voice. "Ya I'm coming now" I jog downstairs pulling on my shoes and nearly falling only to be caught by strong arms. "Slow down beautiful" he chuckles placing his lips to my temple. "Shut up lets go" I giggle and hold his hand letting go only to climb in the car where our hands immediately meet again. We get to the doctor and she calls us back, kevin giving my hand a squeeze as I cling to his side, suddenly nervous of what's to come. In the room we go over what I should be doing from home; prenatal vitamins, no caffeine, no stress, etc etc and an hour later we are finally getting out.
"You hungry?" Kevin asks leading me to the car. I give him a funny face of duh before he laughs and says we'll get something on the way home. He's been so sweet with the pregnancy taking care of me and I'm only a month in. The poor guy probably doesn't realize he's got 9 more months in hell to go. "So when will we know the gender?" he asks. "Babe why didn't you ask her while we were in there! It's your time for questions too!!" "I know! I just thought of it though like right now, 30 seconds ago" "Ok well I think we find out like halfway? Maybe? I don't really know" I shrug it off but the thoughts come back as he pulls through the drive thru getting our food. I don't know anything about being pregnant other than hunger, cravings, and that awful morning sickness. I probably look stupid asking half the questions I ask but to be honest I don't care and it doesn't seem Kevin does either.
