5 years later......
A girl with silver and black hair walked out of the doughnut shop with 3 dozens of glazed doughnuts. It was Christmas morning and she wanted to give doughnuts to the homeless around town, like she did every Christmas.
She was handing out the last doughnut from the second box. The homeless lady looked at her with gratitude.
"Dear, you really are an angel sent from heaven." The lady said, the warm doughnut in her hands, on a cold winter morning.
"Ma'am just because you aren't as posh as the people in TV doesn't mean you're not as beautiful or that you can't celebrate Christmas. Everyone deserves to be happy, even if its just one day a year." She smiled softly at the lady who was slowly munching on her doughnut. The lady thanked her again, they said their final goodbyes and she was off to give away the last dozen.
She walked around aimlessly trying to find someone to give the doughnuts to when she saw a familiar mop of brown curls, chasing after a dog across the street.
She froze when the dog crossed the street, the boy following, a car speeding down the lane.
She dropped her backpack and the doughnuts, without thinking, she ran to the little boy and tackled him out of the way, just as the car was about to hit him, she got him out of the road, falling on the floor as he looked at her with wide eyes as she took the impact. She held her necklace tightly.
Her words before she fell into unconsciousness, "Merry Christmas Timmy"
